angelique...

your Mother is BEAMING up there. there is no doubt.

brian andress' drawings and messages are favorites of mine. how wise and how true.

love and memories are yours to hold tight forever. no one can take them from you, no matter what. and i am still sure your Mother will tell you this herself from time to time. i'm guessing she just did.

you make her proud, angelique. your courage and vision is equal to hers.

love

This really hit home to me in a very personal way....as I have been struggling for a few months now. Selfishly, I have missed Renee's wit and wisdom more than ever... and on a particularly bad day, here is this post - filled with courage, undertanding and love....

Renee is smiling at the irony of this....

Thank you for sharing these true words with all of your blogging family.

Love,

♥ Robin ♥

Oh this is fabulous. Simply wonderful. My wrinkly old eyes cannot read the artist...I would love to see more of his/her work. Wondering if your Mombie sent this your way...

I love Brian Andreas's work. This is such a well chosen one... Renee continues to flow through me daily, as my treatment for breast cancer progresses. I hear her words of encouragement and love, and think of you all, sending prayers of love on wings of angels hoping peace and laughter are visiting your day.
love, Karin

There you go! Yes dearest Angelique! It is true. It is so easy to listen to people who love to remind you of what you lost, what you are missing, what you don't have, what makes you sad, when only for a little while you change the course of your mind and think that life has been good to you for giving you a so many beautiful people in your life. You are blessed, you are gifted. Those who love you, live in you forever. For love does not perish with the body.

Sometimes, it is so easy to dwell on misery because it gives the impression that one is doing something honorable or charitable when in fact, the real honor lies in living and loving to the fullest. The latter two are more difficult to do than being miserable.

I am so happy for you. Thank you so much for your beautiful comment on my blog. I treasure your words. Your Mom lives forever. My gift to the Susan G Komen auction is on her memory and her honor. God bless you fair Angelique. Best regards to Nadalyn and Nathan and your beloved father.

Ah Angelique, this is perfect. We hold dear to our memories don't we? And we honour those that we love by doing so. By finding joy in our memories we honour them all the more. I see your mom in this post ... and even more clearly I see you. How right Renee was to be oh so proud of you.

I hold you all in my heart and prayers as ever. xx Jos

Hi,

I miss Renee very much. I come here from time to time to read her older posts specially when I am feeling down. Renee always lifted my spirit with her positive messages. She is very special to me and to my art. I just had an interview and mentioned her blog as one of my favorites. You can come to my blog and follow the link where I was featured.
Thank you for keeping her blog alive.
