Dear Angelique, Wahid, Jacqui and children,

Mother's Day is a sad one for me, having lost my beloved Mum many years ago - and sadly, never having children of my own. Your pain, your sadness, your longing for Renee must be enormous. I hope that when you look into the beautiful faces of your children and grandchildren, you see Renee.
She IS there - tangible in the family resemblance, but also tangible in the intangible things....flowers blowing in the wind, the waxing and waning Moon, the cries of Ravens as they fly...

One thing I know....she LOVED YOU ...... it wasn't possible for any Mum to love her family more.
You gave her life meaning... you filled her heart with joy and love.
Never forget that.

Renee's blogging family love her always - and love you always. Never forget that too.

Sending each one of you a big hug and kiss,

♥ Robin ♥

In Memory of My Mother

I do not think of you lying in the wet clay
Of a Monaghan graveyard; I see
You walking down a lane among the poplars
On your way to the station, or happily Going to second Mass on a summer Sunday--
You meet me and you say:
'Don't forget to see about the cattle--'
Among your earthiest words the angels stray.
And I think of you walking along a headland
Of green oats in June,
So full of repose, so rich with life--
And I see us meeting at the end of a town on a fair day by accident,
after the bargains are all made and we can walk
Together through the shops and stalls and markets
Free in the oriental streets of thought.
O you are not lying in the wet clay,
For it is harvest evening now and we
Are piling up the ricks against the moonlight
And you smile up at us -- eternally.

For you all dear people, and for Renee!!
LOVE, LIGHT, PEACE ,AND WARM HUGS,

Happy Mother's Day to you, too. I know you're all missing your precious Mom and grandma today. I was out in my garden today and she just popped into my heart and I said a little prayer for you all. May God continue to comfort you and hold you close. I miss Renee so much. God Bless You.

I know this must be a very hard day for you today... Without your courageous, kind and wonderful mom. I miss her daily. I h ope that you can talk about her together and have a smile upon your lips. She would love that I am sure.

I have a postcard she sent me right here at my computer that says on the front "You are so Sweet" and on the back your mom wrote.
"Dear Pattee: I couldn't say it any better. You are so sweet. You are a wonderful doll maker. Love Renee'
xoxo" So I look at it every day and think of her.

Thank you Camille for your comment on my my giveaway doll~ I know your mom totally appreciated my dolls and the traveling gypsy caravan which started out for just her and I.

Much love to your wonderful family
Pattee xoxo

I am again reminded of your loss and ours, those that were friendly and those that were good friends. It is hard, and I look right away when i see a new post, half hoping it is her. Although I lost my parents young too, it is hard not to think of them every day. These days when we celebrate those who gave us life and help make our life worth living.
It hurts to come here and read your words, and it hurts not to. Your Mom was an amazing person with the rare ability to touch others, even thru a computer screen. I sent her the painting, she was so happy. I thought I was giving her something to cheer her up. Yet she brought such cheer and optimism to us each day. Even when things were at their lowest for her, she managed to hold you up.
You are great kids, she knew that, you carry on in her spirit and keep her with us. Thank You

look at all of us here, angelique. you are so kind to remember us on these special days as we remember your beloved Mother and our beloved Renee. she is never ever far from my mind and heart. i have learned that love takes residence and there it remains. even when it seems impossible to reach, heartbreaking to lose, it remains.

i wish you and josephine and domenic and your Father and your sister and brother and your aunts all the love it is possible to send to you.

thank you again, so much, for sharing this day. in some real way, i know you know you are not alone in grieving.

love to you always.

Happy Mother's day to you too! May you feel your Mother's love each and every day (I know you will) through your own children, through the way the sun comes through a window, the fragrance of foods that remind you of her, music, colors, stars in the sky...all the things that will always hold her close in your heart.

To Renee's beloved family,

You don't know me, but Audrey (from Edmonton, Alberta) is a very dear friend of mine, and I have been following her blog since she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Cervical Cancer, on May 28th, 2008.

Renee would always comment on Audrey's blogs, and I would always enjoy her comments. I am very sorry to hear of your loss.

"WHAT WE HAVE ONCE ENJOYED, WE CAN NEVER LOSE. ALL THAT WE LOVE DEEPLY, BECOMES A PART OF US." -Helen Keller

Please accept my most heartfelt sympathy. Even though I didn't know Renee, it still hurts my heart to hear of your loss.

Keep the wonderful memories that you have of her alive; nobody can ever take those away from you.

Love, Rosie (Edmonton, Alberta) XOXOXOXO
