Dreams Sponsored By The Letter V

Valentine: If you are sending the valentine then you need to express more love and affection to the world around you. If you are receiving the valentine then it represents your likeability, compassion, and good nature. *artwork by my dear friend Julie-Ann Bowden

Valley: If you are in the valley it symbolizes your need to be sheltered and protected. If you are entering or walking through the valley it symbolizes your issues and concerns about death or dying. Either way it represents life’s struggles and hardships that need to be overcome before you can achieve spiritual enlightenment.

Vampire: (Not to be confused with Ces the Vampyre.) Ultimately it symbolizes seduction and sensuality as well as a fear of death. Vampire dreams are tricky because they can mean many different things. Example 1 – it may depict someone in your waking life whose charm may ultimately harm you. Example 2 – it may depict issues about sex and losing your innocence. Example 3 – it may depict that you are feeling physically and emotionally drained. Example 4 – if you are the vampire then it may depict that you are sucking the life out of people by using their energy to benefit yourself.

Vase: Symbolizes the womb and all things feminine.

Ventriloquist: Symbolizes deception, fraud, dishonourable conduct, and deception toward people who trust you. There is a part of yourself that you are not revealing. Be careful that you are not manipulating or trying to control people. (Demand that those two bastards be charged with war crimes.)

Venus: A beautiful dream full of love, desire, fertility, beauty, and feminity.

Virgin: Symbolizes purity and potential. Note that the dream does not mean actual physical virginity but emotional innocence. If you dream that another person is a virgin, than that will indicate their integrity and honesty. Go with your feelings toward that individual.

Virgin Mary: Signifies selfless love, compassion, spiritual harmony and ideal motherhood.

Voodoo: If you are practicing voodoo in your dream it suggests that you are unconsciously trying to ward off negative energy. If you see a voodoo doll in your dream it represents a primitive and shadowy aspect of yourself.

Vultures: Suggests that your past experiences will provide you with invaluable insight into a current situation or problem. Be wary as well because if you are not the vulture and someone else is then it may be a warning that someone is watching you and waiting for you to make a mistake. Someone may not have your best interest at heart.

Whoo hoo - I never get in early on your posts my dear!! I'm so excited - silly!! I need to dream of more valleys!! Love the vampire - I seem to be attracted to all things vampire of late.

The one of Bush - giggle snort loved it. The pictures were wonderful hon - the Virgin was facinating and I of coarse loved the Valentine Whimsy!
I'm feeling more like me - finally and am taking a little breather. Hope things are well with you hon. Love, Sarah

I LOVE your dream posts! I haven't dreamed any V's lately but when I do, I'll be back! (Have you worked your way through the entire alphabet or do you just chose letters randomly?)

Oh, the "V's" are so exciting today. Love the photos, especially the vampire one. I've known too many 'energy vampires' to count---people who walk into a room and WHOOSH, all the air is immediately sucked out due to their bad vibes/karma/attitudes! Thank God I'm seldom around people like that anymore....It was soul-killing.

What happens when you get to "Z", dearest Renee? Do you start over? I hope so!!!

I keep dreaming of bad, mean people who I used to work with---no interpretation needed there, but I'd love to exorcise them from my subconscious forever---guess I need to symbolically release them and burn some sage in my bedroom since my dreamcatcher isn't working! Hugs from beeeeautiful Louisiana today where I'll be out and about running errands. Happy Monday!

I love all your posts but you do a fascinating job with your alphabet dreams. Valleys and wide open spaces are in my dreams...
A vulture has flitted thorough a dream or two. hmmm.

Thanks for stopping by and offering your comforting words. I'm actually feeling so much better now that bursitis is a memory and our new lifestyle is becoming a habit.

Hope you are getting stronger.

Kisses and hugs. May Love and sympathy keep you safe.

How about "V" for VALIANT such as for how valiant you are or for the name of my son, Val.:)
Have a great day Renee and hope you are feeling good. Take care.

Strangely enough, I noted that vagina was not on the list. HA!

Happy monday and dream V day. I was totally surprised how beautiful the vulture was. The vultures we have here are dull and black, still interesting though.

I can never (well, almost never) remember my dreams, but when I do, I'll come and look here to find an interpretation. I really love the artworks you have chosen to complement each symbol!

renee, too many comments in my head so i'll limit them to a few

--it is so great to see julie-ann's art here with the best of them.

--war crimes? indeed. but i'd settle for sleepless nights and generalized anxiety

--virginity: that picture is so sensual i don't dare say more. oh, except no wonder i dream about virgins--integrity and honesty being two of the qualities i hold in highest esteem.

--one more comment: ms. renee, you left out an important "v". women, unite!

love you,
kj

What kind of Dream Analysis Service is this my friend? A saVory Vinaigrette of the letter V, except just as Deborah mentioned obViously missing is Vagina and for that matter, Vagitus, Vulva and Vas Deferens. Of course the Vase is an object of Virtu. HoweVer, your effort and desire to anathemize and Vilipend Bush and Cheney of war crimes is flawed and rather Vincible, a ground that cannot be Vetted. It tastes like Verjuice to a conserVative like me and is a Very Vivid example of left-wing Verbigeration; mere Velleity and loaded with Vitriol. Your intended aphorism has the same effect as a Virga, it dissipates before impact. I hope my commentary will not cause Velitation between us. I will Vamoose for now and return this eVening.

Oh and with its meaning, I am definitely not a Vampyre, though I will take seduction and sensuality!

Ciao Renee,
I love the V-themed dreams, although as I mentioned last week, I can't remember any of my dreams, damn it.

The images are amazing, as always. I especially liked the virgin soft porn.

Sorry. My comment is sounding so gray... feeling kind of weak today, and not my usual ebullient self. I apologize. Hopefully better tomorrow. Ciao lovely, hope you're sunny.

Renee! I love that you used to describe your kissing act using sweet gentle and beautiful Josephine. I imagined you doing it and you give me so much honor. This week has been amazing so far, well it started on Mother's Day of all days and that is when Scarlet opened her eyes! Thank you my dearest friend. There shall only be Virtue between us!

Oh my goodness. Doesn't it look like Cheney is reaching in there in search of something???

Hello Renee,
What a lovely post about dream symbolism. I am fascinated by dreams and believe they can teach us. For a long while I documented mine. All of your symbols are interesting. I have a Chinese dream symbol book. I bought it in China Town when we lived in LA many years ago. It is now worn!!
;-)

Hope all of your dreams come true.
Hello to Colette!
I believe that is your sister's name who you spoke of so highy.

Thinking of you!
Love,
Constance

OMG, I love that picture of Bush and Cheney you used for Ventriloquist. It gave me quite a chuckle, even though it actually has a very sad connotation. Hadn't seen that one before.

Such beautiful art, Renee. Julie-ann's painting is delightful. And that virgin painting....wooooooo! Reminds me of something I must add to my to-do list. :)

D-day is June 22. The sun cannot possible shine any brighter in North America with you and Ces already in it. As it is, I will have to purchase sunscreen with an SPF of 150 and solar eclipse glasses.

An asbestos suit would be nice.

renee, i'm glad you know.
i am so excited about laurel's move. that will be something. you're feeling good tonight, eh? (i like that canadian pronounciation of 'eh'. can you just hear me saying it?)

I wonder why KJ didn't mention loving certain Canadians named Laurel?

Nice "V" dreams sister Raven. I can always count on being mesmerized by your choices.
Sorry for being so absent. Moving is emotional, spiritual, and a pain in the ass as far as all the work goes! Jesus, it's never-ending.
I do think about you and all my other sisters out there. I love you and hope you're having great days, smelling fresh-cut grass and putting your feet up with Wahid smelling your delicate neck ;)

I've missed a week or so on your blog Renee...I had a few days a way from the computer which in truth, were blissful.

But I did miss your posts. This one is beautiful. I love the virgin image. She's a pretty sensual virgin! Isn't it crazy to think that we all had that divinely smooth skin and those firm breasts once and we had no appreciation of just how wonderful our bodies were at the time. What a waste!!

From virgins to voodoo. This post has it all!

Love, love, love the images you chose here! (Especially the Bush as dummy image - two of the worst criminals in human history!)

The Virgin painting is so beautiful - thanks for finding it and sharing it with us.

I had to laugh...because I've never dreamed of any of these things, except perhaps valleys...which always went along with hills, which often ended in cliffs.

But, as always, such beautiful and varied images and interesting things to think about....

(I was expecting vagina on the list too, as someone said....)

Thank you for posting!

OMG...I almost choked on my coffee when I came to the Bush/Cheney pic! Boy does that meaning apply, and thank goodness, I have not had a dream (nightmare) like that. Too funny! Love your dream letter posts.

Hugs,

Such wonderful illustrations as usual. The odd thing is, the vulture at the end is in my 'zoo' post of Jack's birthday, or someone just like him!! I, too, was wondering whether you'll start a new topic when you reach 'Z'.

I don't think I have experienced any of the dreams sponsored by the letter V yet.

A note on the pictures though. The vampire one looks super cool. The vulture one is actually scary to me :(

And another for you: volition. You have the will to live life to the full and that's why I enjoy popping round so much. Many thanks for this fantastic post.

Greetings from London.

PS: A piece of trivia. Your word verification was one vowel different from a four-letter, vulgar word in Cuban Spanish. You'd better have a word with google ;-D!
