Dreams Sponsored By The Letter T

Table: Represents social unity and the potential for a gathering. A table always refers to your social and family connections. If the table is broken then there is dysfunction in the home or insecurity over your standing in your social group.

Tarot Cards: You are open to exploring your unconscious thoughts. Consider the general meanings of the tarot suits when seen in a dream. The wands represent fire, inspiration, spirituality, action, initiative and the psyche. The swords signify air, determination, intelligence, strength, faith, and being able to conquer your fear. The cups symbolize water, emotions, purity, and your outlook toward life. The pentacles represent finances, social influence, knowledge, and your connection to the earth.

Tea: Represents satisfaction and contentment in your life. Leaving you with a sense of community and shared ideas. For me it means sisters, daughters, and a son who makes me a cup of tea every night.

Temple: Represents inspiration, spiritual thoughts, meditation, and growth. You are looking for a place of refuge and a place to keep things that are dear to you at hand.

Thistle: You need to be protected. You may be putting up an emotional barrier around yourself.

Tightrope: Indicates that you are in a very precarious situation. You need to proceed carefully and weigh all the pros and cons before you make any decisions.

Tomb: Represents aspects of yourself that you have kept buried away. This indicates that you are about to venture into parts of your personality which have been forgotten or have died.

Topless: I used to dream of being topless all of the time and even though I would always try to cover myself with my arms, the meaning in a dream is actually something positive. It signifies your way of showing and exhibiting love. It is a way to invite love to come towards you.

Trees: Symbolizes new hopes, growth, desires, knowledge, and life. It implies strength, protection, and stability. Family is usually represented by the image of a tree as well. If the tree in your dream is falling then that would indicate that you are off balance and out of sync; be careful you may be headed in the wrong direction. *artwork by my dear friend Ces

Tulips: Indicate new beginnings. You are loving life and generally feel happy. Tulips are symbolic of faith, hope, and charity. It is also a symbol of love in a dream; consider ‘two lips’. Maybe more kissing might be in the cards. *artwork by nature from BT’s garden

Funny - pRiyA and I were drawn to the same ones! I love that your sisters, daughters and sons prepare tea for you at night. My sisters did the same for me, and it was such a great "connecting" time. The tightrope - story of my life over the past year! Thank God for safety nets like family and friends!

Ah! I love these Dream posts, although my dreams are never simple. They are exhausting. I once dreamt of a tree leaning off the cliff and right next to it was our house with a huge balcony overlooking the cliff. The only thing amiss with it was that my children were a toddler and pre-schooler and were playing in the yard. And guess who came over and told me very gently that this was not desirable – my Mother! She came back in my dream and told me to take care of my children and move the house away from the cliff which quite surprisingly, I did by just closing my eyes in my dream and twitching my head in successions and viola! – not only was the house moved away from the cliff, my husband surrounded the edge of the cliff with a strong metal fence and the tree straightened itself! I thanked my mother, then I woke up and checked on the kids to make sure they were okay. They were sleeping soundly. My husband on the other hand was snoring like a freight train! Then I prayed and went back to sleep.

There YOU are – touching your elm tree! You look quite elegant. I see the peacock! So sweet of Shelly, thanks.

And I dream a lot of being topless, oftentimes naked or with a wrap around my waist, and I am going about with my business as if I was in a nudist colony but everybody else is dressed and I have a very nice body in my dream and I am a polyglot.

Really neat post! It is so interesting what our subconscious comes up with to symbolize things in our lives...I've had some pretty amazing dreams myself. They really are such a blessing in the insight they bring to us.

How fun about the tulips! My favorite flower...Looks like some good things are in the cards for me :)
Hugs and Have a Happy Day!

I was thinking of your dream letters when I woke up this morning because I dreamed about a rat. Read it on my blog so I won't take up all your space.

Beautiful pics and new insights into my dreams every time I read your posts. I love, love, love the dream world and trying to unravel the mystery of it all. Blessings!!

I love your dream interpretations. What about dreaming about snow?

You won one of my random acts of kindness. I posted it at the end of a very long and boring post about fashion dolls.

Wonderful choices this week again Ms. Renee. I love the table one because I miss that family connection, and I'm drooling over the tightrope composition and colors. Wow!! It's nice to have such pretty additions by your friends Ces and BT as well ;)

I wish I could force myself to like tea. I have dozens of kinds in the cupboard. Yuck. Can't get it down.

Of course I love the thistle too, being of Scottish blood :)

Love to you. I hope your day was superb!!

But he was weeping, not just crying. His wife was already upset that he was very friendly with me. I needed to hug him but what if he just wanted to lay his head on my chest and what if he lost his senses and he was in my office? It was so weird. I actaully felt sorry for him and I held his hands and kissed his head and then drew his head to my chest and he continued weeping. I was exhasuted. My God. Get a hold of yourself man!

cant say i have had any 't' dreams of late but i do dream of tarot cards quite a bit.....hmmm........i love your dream posts......and i love the agate you sent me and the Miss bossy book- my husband thought that was hysterical - you can expect a mystery gift in the mail SOON xx

Ces Adorio said...

Can you imagine if he did? Oh that would be a good B movie rated R. Just as long as Sean Penn did not play him. He actually looks like Hugh Jackman but only with blonde hair. You think he was just acting up? After that we did not go out to lunch anymore. We used to go out to lunh three times a week with another friend of ours. The three of us would laugh so much. I thought he was my best friend! His children disliked it when I called his house for work issues. Then one day his wife came to work. I met them in the hallway and I introduced myself. Then later he told me that his wife came to find out who I was and she liked me very much and no longer felt threatened. What a bunch of crap! Threatened! Yeah buddy, keep on crying.

Beautiful art. I love the Table and the Tea pieces. But the Trees! Faaaaaabulous. So unmistakably Ces.

We haven't started packing yet. I am in denial. Actually, since the movers will likely pack everything for us in mid-June, the biggest effort right now is pitching stuff left and right. Not an easy feat in Japan.

Sleep well tonight. May you dream of running topless through tulip fields. :)

Ces Adorio said...

But who would want a sissy Hugh Jackman? He really was not sissy. I think maybe his feminine side just busted open as soon as he went inside my office because I was genuinely concerned but as soon as those tears started falling, he's not my hsuband, he's not my son, he's not my brother - it's not safe. It is dangerous because he can just lose himself in my embrace. So no embrace. As I said I kissed his head and then he rested his head on my chest. In the meantime I was thinking, someone page me or call me or where the hell was Cin? I need her to stop this crap. He stayed in my office for two hours to dry his tears and continued talking about his life. Whew. And I actually listened.

Bella Sinclair said...

Hahaha, what would you like Hugh to nibble on first, dear. Now we're back to the wolf image (Wolverine).

Oh, Renee. It's all keepable. Most of the furniture is only a couple of years old. It's just that our place in AZ is already furnished. And we have yet more stuff in storage over in NJ. No place for it all. Embarrassing, really.

Since being in Japan, I've come to appreciate the simple, unburdened lifestyle. All those things I liked to collect and buy before? Don't need any of it.

xoxo

All of these pretty things to dream about and I dreamed about David Hasselhoff last night. A very young David, maybe 20 years old. What does that mean? eek.

Ces Adorio said...

Honestly Renee, I was waiting for him to tell me he wasy gay. I prayed, oh Lord, please don't let him be gay. He has children and I would feel sorry for his wife.

Anyway. We are still friends and it turns out he is just a good man, a gentle man and a very kind man. He is touch with his feminine side. But we are no longer very close like I used to hug him and kiss his cheek or ruffle his hair or sometimes at meetings I would wink at him or send him flying kisses and he would blush! We have been friends for 15 years!

Bella Sinclair said...

BAAAHAHAHAAHA! Holy CRAP, Renee! HAHAHAHAHA! I believe wolves have long tongues.

Oh, excuse me. I'll leave you and Hugh alone now.....

Ces Adorio said...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!

You are making me blush!

Me blushing? That's an improbable situation but indeed yes, tonight, I am blushing and gasping with hand on my mouth!

I have never seen a Hugh Jackman movie but he has a lovely chest. I would like to cry on his chest.

Ces Adorio said...

Aaaahhhhhhh! You are too much. This is my anniversary month. I will have to do penance.

The artwork in this post is just amazing. You have such a talented circle of friends!
I'm hoping that I will dream I am "topless" soon. That is a sweet dream indeed.
BTW, totally unrelated thought, but one that popped into my head while reading...my mother would read Tarot cards just for fun. I still have her deck and I keep one card framed.

So fascinating Renee! I was particularly interested in the meaning for tomb. That one surprised me. I guess I was thinking of something more literal. Tulips...*smile* new beginnings, happy thoughts.

I love the art work that you use to illustrate these meanings. Beautiful

Renee, It is the Wheel of Fortune card. The deck is really quite lovely. It was given to her by a friend in 1970. Mother was good at card reading but wouldn't charge and would not read for anyone who put too much faith in the cards. There were a couple of women who wouldn't get out of bed in the morning without a quick read. Mother passed them on to another lady to help them face the day. She tried to teach me, but I didn't have "it".

Hi again,

I actually managed to track down who made the world-card. It's a talanted woman under the pseudonym of Entdroid. She did it for something called 'Girls thunderdome' and she only did one card.

http://gorillaartfare.com/2008/06/tarot-card/

I just thought I should point that out, if you were curious. :)

For some reason these ones struck me a lot more personally than the other "dream interpretations" though they've all been quite thought-provoking and full of absolutely gorgeous images. I think that recently I have dreamed of tea and tables (not necessarily together). The thistles were interesting. I can't say as I've ever dreamed of either that or temples. Topless--yes, quite frequently--and usually in the school where I teach. I find it very alarming.

I love Ces's trees! I love trees anyway. Soon I'm going to start drawing my favorite ones again.

Thank you for such a lovely post!

BT said...

Oh 54 comments Renee! You always pick such beautiful pictures. Ilove the temple the tea. How lovely that your son makes you a cup of tea each night.

Now how about this one. Chapter 6 in BT's wild dreams. Last night I was partnered with Stephen Fry (do you know him?) He is gay and everyone kept telling me that and he kept rejecting my advances but I was sure we were 'together'. We went to a very posh hotel and met famous people and I accompanied him around the room. We went to his bedroom which was like a little cabin in a boat. We didn't go in. There was an explosion in the main room and Stephen was near it but unhurt. Oh crikey, am I totally mad. I have 'tasted' this dream all day and still have it on my mind now -as you can tell.

I often do the naked thing too but I am always uncomfortable with it and wish I could find some clothes. Hey ho. I do hope you're feeling ok today.

Love
BT (Batty Tart)!!!

Word verification, fuchy, sounds so rude!
