Oh, a yummy selection on the menu today! Breakfast and lunch are best served chilled, but dinner is splendidly warm. All a bit bizarre, but deliciously so. Very awesome. I like those cat-head plants.

OMG, you have a drop-dead gorgeous follower! Wowie!

ps. Think Ces and I don't know comfort foods? You, Ces, and me -- name the place and time. We'll take you down in an eating contest, woman.

Hello my dearest, how are you. I thought about you before I finally closed my eyes and surrendered to exhaustion. Still fighting, I read your comment bleary eyed and my eyes popped open when I saw her lovely face. What a beautiful name she has, her first and last to match her exotic beauty. Then I remembered how you described her as being an angel, her empathetic and sympathetic attitude, her caring and loving ways. I am warmed. Tahnk God, not only do you have loving people around you, they are beautiful and very pleasant to your eyes. She is beautiful! Thank you for giving me somthing to smile about before I closed my eyes again.

Ooh, that second one reminds me of the line from the Carole King song, "Chills my soul right to the marrow."

Renee...I am think these are three of my all time favorites (but I say that all of the time, don't I?) I love the whimsy of the first one, the depth (it is almost 3D) of the second one, and the homor in the third one.
Have a great weekend my friend. And happy Mothers Day to you!

Love the thrid pic - eclectic worlds co-existing in harmony! Reminds me of Alice in Wonderland!

It is no wonder the Guides love knocking on your door! Our pantry is fully stocked with chocolate biscuits - perfect for late night snacking.

Brent has a brilliant time away - he seems more grown up and confident now.

Have a wonderful weekend, Lisa

Hello dearest! I am working from home today! Later this evening we will be going to see my daughter's play. Hope you are feeling better and will be up to a lovely Mother's Day celebration this weekend. My, you have a good looking family. I just know from Josephine and Angelique.

Ces Adorio said...

I already loved everything of what little I saw of the lovely Josephine, so I am sure there will be just more to love!

Epsilon II is playing a lead role in a musical called "Rock the Boat". I am excited. She has the lead female role. This is her second play. The first one was when she was 11 y.o. She loves the theater. I am taking her again to see another Broadway play in June.

a Lifetime of being cold (obviously a child of Mr.Frost)

Dallying around like it is just another day – nothing is strange or out of the ordinary for that little monkey king.

FYI someone we know (and love) is living in her own little grandma fantasy ... she told me her grand daughter (who is like 3) can catch a fly with her bare hands as it is flying around the room ... I put a call into her son to varify this, but have not heard back ... lol

I love the second one. Great artwork. I stopped by to wish you a Happy Mother's Day ahead of time in case I don't touch bases with you. Enjoy your day and don't eat too much cake. Take care.

hmmm, not loving todays menu Renee. Sorry! I guess breakfast is my favorite. I like the animal balloons. Dinner just creeps me out although I love his or her imagination, and lunch leaves me cold. It could just be the frame of mind I've been in lately. Maybe I shouldn't visit anyone until I chill out ;)
I do love stopping by with hugs for you though. Next time I'll leave my pissyness at the door!

P.S. Have a fabulous Mother's Day. How could you not with all the love that surrounds you? ;)

Do the first and second pics speak of your pain? The first, you wish you could control the birds circling your head, and the second speaks to me of the nausea and vertigo felt when in pain.

I sure hope you're feeling ok Renee. The opera post you mentioned pain killers.

In the name of Jesus, I rebuke and bind all manner of evil and pain which may be tormenting you. By Jesus' stripes and in Jesus' name you are healed! Glory be to God!And remember, faith even as small as a mustard seed can move mountains.

Lord, help my friend Renee. Open her eyes that she may see your kingdom and hunger for you, for your word. Touch and annoint every cell of her body with your healing touch Lord. Lord, that she may be filled with your joy and give praise to you and all to your glory! Be it done according to your will. Father, in Jesus' name, Amen.

For some reason the last picture makes me think of "monkey on my back" even though the monkey is literally IN her back. More amazing artwork to tickle our muddy brains. Thanks, Renee, for making us think!

The first image is succulent! Yes, I could eat it :-)! Many thanks, fantastic post.

Greetings from London.

I see that someone has entered my name on a comfort food eating contest. Hmn. When will that be? Make it after the Epsilon's play if you are up to it. But then the Junior member of the triumvarate may not be up to it.

Renee, I swear. I seldom make any typographical error on your blog but whenever I write to Bella, I look like an imbecile. Terrible errors and misspellings and then I try to correct them and the corrections are even worse, totally retarded!

I love your blog, it has an automatic spellcheck, grammar and vocabulary check!

I like the first two. The last one is a little disturbing to me.

Hello Sweet! Thank you for asking. What a fun and wonderful production. Miss Em was fabulous, really and everyone was great. it was a entertaining, funny and a first rate production, props, costumes for a miidle school! There were so many boys participating which warmed my heart because boys usually do not like dramatics. Ah the Moleskine, first of many projects. That is why I bought a dozen! Hahah! I am the lucky friend!

Ces Adorio said...

Oh byt the way, where is Angelique? Would you please ask her to comment so I can see her beautiful face again?

Ces Adorio said...

Hey Love, in case I fall asleep on my drawing here, let me just wish you a sweet good night. I hope you are feeling much better and indeed I have come to believe in the power of prayer. As Bella mentioned about the shortcomings of love and that we need more, for tonight I will rest my weary head, content and happy that I have boldly opened my heart to love and care for someone who does not ask for anything but gives so much. You my dearest Renee is everyone's loving and inspirational friend, the epitome of what Aristotle referred to as a friend out of virtue. May God bless you, ease your pain and discomfort and perk up that weary smile in your heart.
