Wow that first painting is striking! absolutely stunning!

As you seem to be the dream expert Renee I was wondering if you knew what dreaming about mouldy shoes means?
I woke up and all I can remember is looking in my wardrobe trying to find some shoes and every single pair was covered in Mould!! Yuck!! lol

Whoa, this is a very striking threesome this week Renee!
'B' is ready for anything that comes her way. Watch out, she's kickin' some ass!

'L' is sad to me. There's so much sameness around her that she's lost herself in the routine drudgery. I keep looking at the scene for hints of something. Maybe with fresh eyes in the morning...

'D' reminds me of the movie "magnolia." I was so pissed off when the frogs started falling from the sky all around the shoes.
(Only because I was concerned about the frogs) but also it didn't make any friggin sense to me at all. WTF??? Or any froggin' sense. The art is awesome though, as was the music in that movie.

Thanks for the visit. I do miss her. She tried, she really did.

Love you too, you know that?
Smooches and hugs.

Hi Renee, the first painting gave me a good chuckle, lol! Such a funny painting. The artist certainly has a great sense of humour. All three are fantastic!
I never realized how much I looked like my mum until I placed the photo on here, amazing!
Like your mum, who sounds such a wonderful person and know she will be. Your love for your family shines through so deeply.
she is such a beautiful mum and a wonderful person, if I came to earth again I want to stay with the same mum. Amazing how you love your family more and more as time goes by and realize why you are with them. Their love and characters are not one to be missed for any money of the world, so much more precious than money or fame(would not want to be a famous singer or actress. So much delving into their lives, I feel sorry for them). Poor Princess Diana. Wow news hey!
I love the simple life.
Sending a BIG KISS AND SMILE!
Have a great day Renee, thank you so much for your beautiful message, you always brighten my day.
Oh, thank goodness I remembered this news.
IN AUSTRALIA THERE AS BEEN A TEST ON MEN WITH PROSTRATE CANCER. THEY GAVE SO MANY OF THEM NATURAL BLUEBERRIES TO EAT AND THE BLUEBERRIES REDUCED THE CANCER.
BUY LOTS OF BLUEBERRIES RENEE AND WILL KEEP MY HEART AND FINGERS CROSSED!

LUV YOU LOADS!

Delightful! I am in lust with the first painting: she reminds me of a girlfriend that I had when I was in college.

Ooh, these are some creepy fantasies! Soemthing about that middle one reminds me of Stepford wives, which fits with the military wife post earlier.

Hmmm...I do love Fantasy Friday!

Of the three today:
- Micky Mouse Guerrilla Warrior
- Sewing Body Form
- It' Raining Frogs...........

I think that I am most fond of Ms Mouse. She is tough with her smoke dangling from her mouth, yet gentle with her flower.

Love audrey

I like the froggies! Thought provoking images as ever!

Dang, girl, how did you know? That's exactly what I look like when I eat my breakfast, too. It's part of my Extreme-Blogging-with-Renee getup. You like?

L & D are very cool images, too. I think I'd like to have a body like Lunch lady, because she can adjust her waist size. See? Gotta look at the positive.

OH! I am so feeling the first one...the Mickey hat with the flower, the cigarette hanging, the ammo for the S.A.W. Now THAT'S an empowered woman!

that's some wicked good artwork choices today Renee, I love the last pic. I just recently discovered the artist and find his art fascinating.

thanks for stopping by my blog, now about my exercise plan, well I fell off the wagon, lol! After a good start, the weather got crappy and rainy so I haven't been doing my daily walk- yes I know how this is an excuse :-D
but every day is a new day to start over
have a wonderful day Renee!

Hi Renee,
These are interesting works. Evocative. Especially the second one. The pain, reminding me of some of Frida's work.

Happy weekend!

I loved the piece where it's raining frogs!!
I think Prometheus had it right about the first one!

I like them all.... I think my shadow self is the first one... : )
I love frogs but for some reason them falling from the sky gives me creepies.
And I've seen that middle woman some where... maybe in my dreams.

Renee, Renee, Sweet Renee these are just awesome pictures and artists. The one in the middle is kind of scary but I can't stop looking at it. I even come back and look at it. I think I love it.

Hi Renee, I told my mum you sent her your love and she said it was so nice of you and I had to tell you something that Grandad solly (Solomon) use to say.
"I love you 2 bags of sugar and all the tea in china"
My mum said that is a lot of love.

Have a great weekend!

Lots of luv and hugs!

Julie-ann

Thanks! Love these especially number one. It is the ears that make the picture!

Oh, I love all of these paintings, and I could look at them for the longest time...what talent there is in the world. :) You have an amazing eye - where do you find all these?

Maybe you are an artist's agent. Or a rich mentor with a stable of talented artists that live in cottages on your property. See? I am having my own little fantasy Friday! xox

kendalee said...

Oh that middle one is strangely distressing to me and yet mesmerizing! I do enjoy your fantasy Fridays, Renee.

I don't know Tessa but she sounds lovely. What is her blog name? I'll drop by and say hello... :) Kenda xx

Eleonora Baldwin said...

Remember the film Magnolia, when it started raining frogs? The last image reminded me of that awesome scene.

I adore you too Renee, you know that right?

Ever heard Ben Harper's cover of the song "Sexual Healing" (originally by Marvin Gaye, another legend)? How about the Live from Mars album? And his version of "Strawberry Fields"? I could go on and on... Love him

Marion said...

Oh, I'm so loving all of these! I do not like Disney. I mean, I love Minnie Mouse, but I think Disney has done more harm to the environment than most large companies do. So that first picture strikes a chord with me on that subject. Looks like she's ready to FIGHT that freaking rodent! LOL! There's an amazing essay/book by the fabulous newsman turned novelist, Carl Hiaasen, that shares my views: "Team Rodent: How Disney Devours the World". I highly recommend all of his fiction books, but this essay is amazing.

Being a sewing person, the second one of the seamstress's dummy sewing cracks me up and plays havoc with my wild imagination.

Love the raining frogs, too. I went outside to put water in my outdoor cats' bowl and a big, fat toad was patiently waiting for me when I got back with the water. More synchroncity! Hugs & Love, Renee, and have a great weekend!!

Let me look at it this way? Do I want these women for breakfast lunch or dinner? Hmn. Breakfast has too much make up might taste yucky, Lunch is plastic and dinner is all wrinkled. I think I will have oatmeal for breakfast lunch and dinner. But if someone forced me to choose, I'll choose breakfast. I hope she has a high IQ.

kj said...

renee, the luncheon seamstress is so hemmed in. i want to help her break free. breakfast looks just like i imagine bella!!--what a coincidence that bella says this is indeed her likeness. :)

i left a comment on my blog explaining mr. ryan's smile in that recent photo. thanks for liking that one especially--me too.
i hope you're having a fine day.
love you, kj

What amazing fantasies people have in their heads - raining frogs, a clothes dummy that has become a seamstress, and that first one!! (It is the kind of outfit that I would like to wear to one of our local tango events when I feel really out of sorts!)

My mailbox was brimming again today and this time it had a lovely card and gift from my raven sister in Winnipeg. I have no idea why these gifts keep finding me. I'm truly blessed with love and kindness.

The little girl is the one in the closet. I love it Renee. I know she's safe now ;)
I can't make out the artist's name though. Her card is sweet too.
And your loving words. A treasure, a forever keeper like you!
Thank you deeply.

Blessings, love and peace.
I'm glad we have each other.

Number one looks like Minnie Mouse is about to tie Mickey up and give him the spanking of his life!

Hmmm, Disney World for adults! Now that would be a very interesting theme park:) What stimulating rides to go on!!

Have a great weekend, Renee.

Love seeing the art you profile on Fantasy Fridays.

I like them all, however the raining frogs is my fave. You could read so much into this particular piece. Actually, as I look at it again, I see yet another interpretation of it. I love art like this!

Pic 1...Mouseketeer of the underground.

Pic 2...again, a couple of ways of looking at it. I like to think she is perhaps giving herself an overhaul from the inside out - breaking the bonds that have restricted her.

Wishing you a great weekend Renee!

Hi Renee,
Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you.
I had my settings wrong on the comments for the post on Alexis Grace.
The first post I rec. was from a strange one, when I went to that persons blog it was all Porn Art..
So I thought I just block that person, but instead I moderated the comments and did not know I did..LOL..

Yes I went to the Doctors, she states it is nothing but fatty tissue, and watch it for growth..
It now has gotten smaller.
I have decided to go to other doctor for both the lump and my Breast..
If they say the same I will try to relax for a year, until the next Mamo...

Hope all is well with you..

Hugs
Tammy

Renee, just wanted to let you know that I just caught up on Saturday's Britain's Got Talent show and 'our' sax player Julian, made it through (with 40 others) to the semi-finals.
200 acts were put through during the auditions - which is where the video on my blog was from. The judges had to whittle it down to 40 for the upcoming semi-finals.

The semi-finals will be running live all this week.
Keeping my fingers crossed that he does well! Would love to see him in the finals.

Hugs,
