I love the eyes of the entertainer...some deep emotion and insecurity in them.

OH MY GOD!!!

This is the perfect picture! It is a picture of Renee (notice she has no wings because she is a cursin'-spittin'-accusin'-me-of-being-vampire- woman) entertaining the angels Bella and Ces! How perfect of an image is that! I am the one on the right!

Renee, in all seriousness, I had several episodes where I dreamt I was an angel. - flying up in the air with angel powers. The funny thing was my outfit was so vividly designer - I was wearing Armani and Prada, autumn ensemble, all in the shades of brown, a tunic sweater and long gaucho skirt, boots and a flowing floor length jacket and I was just gliding up there. Here:
http://cesandherdishes.blogspot.com/2007/03/isabella-dreams-of-flying.html

I had a mission to save the economic infrastructure of some country where there was drought. When I landed my clothes became navy blue office suits and I attended a board meeting but I was flirting with some guy - just looking - I was an angel and so I was just teasing him. Anyway I saved the world because Princess Diana, yes Princess Diana was an angel and she was wearing a mini skirt suit like the ones she used to wear. Anyway we saved the word by opening all the Beanie Babies which turned out were stuffed with mung beans! We asked the people to plant the mung beans and they grew abundantly and people were able to eat high protein legumes. We were summoned back to heaven but I gallivanted and I met this male angel who had a flying Ferrari but he was not driving it in the air he just let it fly like a remote control type car with his finger as the remote. He was clearly like me, a player angel and we made angel love - oh my god- while we were flying. You know how angels make love? We just held hands and closed our eyes and hugged and then we twirlled like a gentle tornado and then there were golden and silvery stardusts floating in the air to end it all. When I got up to heaven, there was a council and I was late. Princess Diana was already up there. I sneaked in but God knew and (darn He looked like Michaelangelo's Creation God) He looked at me and knew what I have been up to and he raised one eyebrow and I just smiled and once again I got away with everything. I even drew my angel outfit because it was so vivid! I also dreamt I was an angel and I saved my friend from being bullied, then from getting into a car wreck in the freeway but puting my angel body in front of her during the impact. I protect my family aespecially my children in my angel dreams. I don't know why I have to dream because I already do that in real life anyway.

Oh my god! I finally get to comment on Renee's blog, THE RENEE, RENEE HERSELF! Oh and you cuss like a fireball. Ooooh! I think I love you.

I guess since they're angels you can't, like, break out a pack of cards and some whiskey....

What a beautiful, innocent picture Renee. I thought they were interviewing someone. The lady at the top of the table looks a bit bewildered methinks. Where are you Renee?

Sarah Sullivan said...

Good morning hon,
I think the first thing that popped into my head was... how often we entertain angels and don't know it. How many wonderful angels in the guise of friends, neighbors, strangers to we see and maybe entertain every day. Thank you for the reminder to look!!
Love ya hon, Sarah

Ces said...

Never a stone my dear! It is the most tender of all hearts!

BT said...

But, but I left a comment and it's gone! I was the first, too. Where have I gone to??
What a sweet picture, although I think the anels are interviewing her. Have you been a good girl? Did you commit any sins? I hope it's not me, I'd have no chance!!!

BT said...

Oh and now my other comment has appeared and I feel silly!! lol.

Sarah Sullivan said...

We shall have tea together then!! Thank you hon. Huge hugs, Sarah

Meghann said...

Hugging you this morning. Entertaining agels is my favorite quote. I believe you are the angel giving us a gift of modesty, thankfulness, and inspiration.

Have a Great Saturday Lady.....Shaking my booty mentally with ya...

I like the idea of entertaining angels. You'd probably have to give them light and airy foods though so as not to weigh them down. Oh, and light beer! :)

I told my corgi clients about my move yesterday. There was silent panic and tears but I assured them they weren't being abandoned. I'll be there every day for the rest of this month. Honestly, thay may not need more than that.
I haven't told my other lady yet. It's just too soon. She's all alone and has anxiety disorder and phobias. She'd wring her hands 24/7. The kicker is our vet is leaving the area too. Double abandonment :(

Today is hopefully getting my illustration done for IF, and then packing, and then seeing my patients. It won't be a soundless Saturday.

How are you? Sending love from the Pacific while I can.

What a wonderful picture! I think that all of us, throughout the day, often entertain angels. In small
acts of kindness, that we may not even be aware that we are doing, angels are
happily entertained. To them, it would be like being served tea and crumpets!

Hugs!

Shelly said...

Sweet - my entertainment always involves a cup of tea!

A lovely picture Renee. I am like one of the others...I wonder what you would serve angels? Hmmmm Something like, perhaps...divinity? :) I'll drink some more coffee and ponder that. Have a great Saturday, thanks for posting on my blog :)

Hi Renee, hope it is ok. I think this is the only way to write to your lovely sister.

Hi Shelley, lovely to hear from you. I wanted so much to write to yesterday, I was slow at finding your message once placed onto blog. Totally lovely that Renee has such a kind and loving sister.
Hopefully one day if you like the painting, you can see if someone will scan it into a large machine and make a copy for you. I wouldn't mind at all.
Best wishes and a big hug!

Hi Renee, I am so pleased I didn't change it then, if it looks like your daughter! I thought I would break my heart in two if I did. So decided, she was to beautiful to spoil. Same of your daughter also. Brilliant news!
It as been varnished and is drying in the back room.
She will start to fly to your home soon, may take a couple of weeks. She will be so tired and will feel so grateful to rest on your wall gazing at you and your beautiful family.
It is bank holiday here for Monday, so tuesday will be the weighing day.

God bless you Renee!

And they look so polite and patient. Tea. Can there be coffee?

Bella Sinclair said...

Hahahaha, ohhh, it just does NOT get any sweeter than this. What a find! Surely angels are not satisfied with just a cup of tea. They require a song and dance, too, no? Perhaps a joke with a tinge of risque? All that goody-goody in heaven can get a little old after a while.

Ok, this is soundless Saturday, so I'm just going to shut up and enjoy this one for a while.

so that's your pouring the tea, renee? i wouldn't be surprised.

i believe angels walk among us. but my invitations for tea, spaghetti and meatballs, and/or chocolate cake has never been accepted. at least not that i know of.

hope you have a super sunday, dear friend. i'm out in your garden planting f--- words if you're looking for me.

Ces Adorio said...

Thanks Renee. You are really the sweet angel, not me. As far as advice goes, maybe I should run errands instead. :)

renee, i've never had a moon sister before and so far it is pretty four star a-okay.

i've set the table and tea will be ready anytime. and i've arranged to cancel my exotic dancer lessons, and my flying lessons, if circumstance warrants tea being served in winnipeg. maybe shelly would like to join us? and jacquie too? and i wouldn't be surprised if lolo canceled her plans to show up. she would probably bring an extra desert, that girl being as thoughtful as she is. and i would sit at the table and say to myself, 'kj, this woman renee, she is remarkable. she reaches out and connects in a remarkable way, she inspires, she supports, she sees and colors, and she laughs her way through thick and thin." i would say, 'i like this woman, i love this woman, and i am inclined to care about her forever more'. and then i would say, 'and that is a gift to myself.'

then i would pour the tea, fill the italian painted bowls to the top with spaghetti and two giant meatballs each, and then cut a 9 inch double layered cake into four pieces, and i would say, 'my beloved moon sister, may i give you the first piece?"

A quiet Saturday afternoon having tea. Now, that's my kind of weekend sometimes, just change tea to coffee or 'mate'.

Many thanks.

Greetings from London.

This reminds me of a deck of cards I had as a kid, when those big-eyed drawings were so popular. If I were feeding angels I'd serve them red wine and chocolate snce I believe those to be the food of the gods.
