Another good one Renee! Hope the flower girls are behaving themselves today. They like weekends so they should calm down. I can't imagine where they picked up that language.

To me, the word "bitch" may only be used by women, never by a man to a woman.

Renee, I tried one of the PICC line shower covers yesterday and it worked perfectly. Thank you so much!

HHAAHAHAHAHHAHHA Har har har! A picture actually doesn't have to speak a thousand words. A succinct blurb can do the job.

Woot!

Have a great weekend, girl!

Ahhhhhh the Maury Povich of risque wood! LOL
What a tart.
Good morning beautiful!

Renee, you're the undisputed Queen of Quirky on these Soundless Saturday posts, and I mean that in a totally complimentary light. What a hoot this one is! I'm all for giving inantimate objects the ability to speak. Imagine the possibilities! Love it!

Hi Renee, yeah, it was a little after 4 this morning before my pounding head hit the pillow finally. Too much spring in the air, not enough sleepy dust! I liked the Alchemist - don't freak out too much - we know we're in sync - especially in those wee hours of dream time!!! xoxo K

Oh yeah?! How do you know a couch is a male couch? Is it because something will poke you when you sit on it? Geesh! I wonder what a slot couch feels like or for that matter a lesbian or gay couch? I wish my furniture would reproduce like that. I don't have to spend money on furnishing my house. One thing for sure, my furniture will be conservative.

Marie S said...

Thanks!

My daughter and I were just talking about how we love that picture. I am going to have to print it out and put it on the ceiling over my bed, I will wake up in a good mood everyday.

Hi Renee, just popping in to say I hope you have a great Memoria Day weekend and also hope you are feeling well. The loveseat comment I have to think on. Take care.

Roflmao! When I posted my first post here this morning it said
"idcome".
I think it is ALIVE!

Renee, I am going to put an end to this once and for all. You can drop me off like a hot potato if you wish and you can tell me to stop visiting you if you want. It will make me sad and break my heart. I will still give you what I promised BUT I am not liberal. I am not socialist. I believe in conservative values. I have never voted for a Democrat all my life, well since I was able to vote in the US. I believe marriage is between a man and a woman, I believe life starts at conception. I believe in the sovereignty of the US and the maintenance of its borders, that immigration should be legal. I believe in the death penalty for heinous crimes. I believe in lower taxes. I believe in competiton, in equal access but not equal results. I do not believe in preference based on gender, race or religion. I do not believe in affirmative action. I moved to Texas to get married. I hated it here at first because everything was so far, so wide and so big but I noticed that Texans always have this can-do attitude, can-do without government interference, Texans take care of their own, they are charitable, caring and giving people. Companies here, like mine care for their employees. Texans comprise of 18% of the US population, yet provided for 70% of the national employment in 2008. There are more Fortune 500 companies in Texas than elsewhere because we have lower taxes. We have no state tax. We were struck by tropical storm Allison and lost billions. Our company alone lost hundreds of millions and closed our major facility and transferred hundreds of patients when the hospital lost power without a single casualty. Texans don't riot, they dare not loot. In the end, Republicans and Democrats here are united and help one another as Texans. Texans are proud of America and love America. I am proud to be an American. So, that's all there is to that. I will not ruffle your feathers by mentioning this again, but I will not apologize for my beliefs, I am rather proud of them.

my dearest quirky renee, it took me a while to GET this! but now that i do, it is hysterical.

how many of these illustrations and paintings do you have in those files of yours anyway? thousands? to me, your blog is a combination of these interesting and unusual images, your understated and really good writing ability, your gutsiness under pressure, and your wild wooly irreverance. you are a unique bird, moon sister.

renee, how are you today?

i'm taking a three saturday group on writing memoirs (three weeks in between to write each day). there are seven women all writing different memoirs. renee, you would love this. i could see you sitting in one of the comfy chairs, smiling and enjoying all these talented interesting women, being who you are and how you write in your blog. i wished you and i would be in a group like this together. wouldn't that be so cool?

Oh, that is funny and clever.

HAHAHA! WICKED! That is just awesome, especially since they are Victorian type chairs. Wooohoooo and those repressed Victorians.

Actually, did you read about the lady who had twins? But each twin was from a different father! Very, very, very rare occurrence, but I guess it does happen.

I have found a good reason to worry about you. Know that I do. I know it's useless to worry and does not do you any good but it does something for me - something to hush my heart and ease my mind...totally selfish but I want to be selfish during these times when I don't see you, something selfish like I think you are okay and just resting or got so smashed at a party or overextended yourself at some laughter fest...yes, it's my selfish thoughts and imagination that you are well and I hope you make it your selfish acts too to do something like thsose.

Ces Adorio said...

Hahahah! No no no not that way at all. I am never offended, I just want to make sure you are not trying to convert me or think that I am pretending because quite hosnestly, I don't know why it's not just you but all my other friends of the liberal persuasion and, except the two conservative ones, do not understand why I am a registered Republican but I am.

There that is all settled. We can go about our business of living life and loving friends!

Bella and I were thinking of you last night and we hoped you were having a great time (which you did!). We missed you but I am so glad you had a ball, sorry for the loss but it's worth it - right? I am a sore loser! Did you see your Mother Superior figure at Bella's? Hahaha.

I love you!

That was short, sweet and so, so funny. I just had a great weekend with my wife, culminating in a stroll around Brick Lane's market in East London and now have just popped round your blog and leave with a big smile on my face. Life is just so great! Many thanks.

Greetings from London.

OK now I get it. We have similar trash on Italian TV...

Funny you should say that about the book. The manuscript's first draft is FULL of stories and stuff like the Theresa post.

I believe the secret ingredients to authentic (Italian) homestyle cooking are a) LOVE; and b) LIFESTYLE. That's why it's hard to define it as a cookbook. More of a guide book/journal with related recipes.

Thanks SO much for your comment, made me tear up! :) You are very inspirational and I absolutely love your artwork.

I have definitely been trying a lot hard lately to tell the "what-ifs" to fuck off. I am trying to be happier and stay positive. I have been keeping myself busy working on our new place which keeps my mind off of stress and worries. Once we get the new place set up I will have an art room which I am SUPER excited about. I can sit in peace and quiet and get some work done.

Getting a dog has been a really positive thing for me and I think it will help to keep me organized since I will have to take care of him and train him so often.

I try to always remember that things will get better and it always works. Most of the time it is easier for me to say that to others and hard to convince myself. Im getting there however.

I would love to paint you a sun. It is actually the sublime logo which is my gf's favorite band. As soon as I move into the new place and get settled I plan on sending you one :). I feel so grateful to have my mother and for her to have told me about blogging. I have received such amazing responses and makes me much more positive, so thank you! I hope you have a great Memorial day! <3
