Wednesday's Woman No. 27

I am on my sixth lover and even though I am more than satisfied with the sixth, I can’t but feel that seven may be even better. Seven may be the trick. Seven might be the answer; after all isn’t seven the luckiest of lucky numbers?

I feel that as far as love goes I am in a constant state of rehearsal.

I bat my eyelashes, he nods his head. I smile; he asks me what’s up. And before you know it, I wonder if I should leave the lover I’m with and attach to a new one.

Sexual experimentation is a big part of what is going on with me right now.

Wish me luck.

HA! LUCK LUCK LUCK!!! I am so liking this fantasy. However, I fear it is a metaphor for something else...heck! I'm staying in the dirty lane.

Seven indeed is a good number - always has been my favorite, but then there is eleven - what about eleven...

What an appetite you have Renee...

Chew em up and spit them out, move on...Sounds like the peak years of 30's LOL..

Hehehe - you go girl! Nothing quite like a bit of experimentation to get the sparks flying!

(SHRIEK! Word veri is 'phork'!)

She doesn't experiment with cats, does she? Or perhaps she gets a new...kitty...with every lover she's had.

Ok, now I'm thinking about those old ladies with 100 cats, and... naaaah.

I saw somewhere that for a woman my age in the New York area, the average number of lovers is 11. I am desperately behind and need to do some catching up.

Beautiful, beautiful painting, by the way. Very dreamy.

Just stopped by to say hello. I haven't posted since Monday, so later today I may....or may not.:D Just wanted to say hi before I walk out the door. Have a great day.

Gee, in NYC and LA, most of the people I know had about 4 x11 by age 40, lol. And those were the non-promiscuious ones.

(I've found the number doesn't necessarily increase the quality of the talent, lol)

I'm with Deborah! No metaphor for me, my mind will be in the gutter, I want the literal translation. Oooh how scintillating let me start counting oh oh oh I ran out of fingers...HAHAHA!

...and I like Tessa's word verification!

Hehehe! Thank you Sweetie. I have been stuck with money work very early this morning and also surrendered to Hypnos in the craddle of Nyx last night. My schedule is easing and I will make time. Tsup!

Ces Adorio said...

Also as for gutteral enumerations are we counting the one night or one afternoon stands? And what about the phone ones? HAHAHAH! Oh I will rot in hell.

I don't know if you went back to see, but I have to repeat here that your comment on my animal blog about the bird that blows up when it speaks, in my mind, is the BEST ALL TIME COMMENT in the history of my three blogs. I wanted to say of all time, spanning ALL BLOGS, but you see how I restrained myself...

I am totally bowled over by how fast your angel flew, it took her just less than 24 hours to reach you. She must of been so looking forward to being with you.
So pleased you like her so much she is going on your living room wall. Thank you Renee, you an angel and so beautiful!

luv and hugs!

renee, i'm going to look at the comical side of this even though we might as well acknowledge that there is something sad and screwy about not being able to commit.

haha:here's a study that may or may not tell us something about dear bella!

according to Norman Brown, of the University of Alberta, two out of three women remembered each partner they had or they kept a running tally. They reported an average of 6.2 people. (Men, however, were twice as likely not to remember, leaving their calculations to guesswork. They reported an average of 11.9 women.)

a while back my i and approx 12 other women got together for a fun night of watching 'sex & the city'. we were a pretty balanced group of single or married heterosexual women and single or married lesbians. we had a ball talking about sex and and 'function'(smile) but the most run was counting and sharing how many partners, how many men, how many women. i was very surprised at my own count--more than i would have guessed (imagine me using my fingers as the memories added up, because that's what i did!)

now you've got me thinking about doing my sex survey afterall, which i started earlier in the week and chickened out after the second question!!

a terrific post, ms. renee. i will of course read every single comment!!! xoxo

word verf: liquate.

As for friends who prefer something from the mall, I have several of those. That one however I totally got wrong. I thought she was special. In fact she was in the delivery room when Em was born. But I have been through several who I think were best of friends and they turned out to have personal agenda, not always the most virtuous of relationships but marred by selfishness and dysfunctionality. Well, I make mistakes. You think at my age I would have learned by now, I think I am finally getting the lessons though.

Ces Adorio said...

Oh another thing, I think what Bella meant was everytime she has a new lover, the lover gets a cat. Isn't a cat also called a pussy?

LOL - yup am thinking eleven sounds good too!! Ok my mind is in the gutter too!!

Love the 7 white cats and the wild woman up the pink-blooming tree. Lordy, you and I must be on the same moon "cycle". I'm with you, girl! LOL! Go for it! (I think my 40's were my peak years sexually. I was so baaaad, but have such fond memories. Sigh---not that it can't get better, but I don't know if I could stand it!)

What senses do we use the most? Taste? Sight? Hearing? No. We use the combination of all these as our imagination conjures ways to achieve pleasure, simple, or complex, with one or more stimuli.
We need new things, and experiences to keep our brain cells multiplying.

Good for whatever.

Renee, please stop by my blog, you have been tagged.

Oh, and my veri. word is "antmen", as long as #7 isn't one of them (that could be creepy), all is good! LOL

Kinda like the 80/20 thing. Where someone has 80% of what they want, but throw it away to get the other 20% only to find out they prefered the 80% that they just threw away.

Of course you know I am just joking right? This is something I would not be proud or be bragging about if it's true!

You know what they say about people who kiss and tell, right?

Well, seven brides for seven brothers. And one more never hurt anyone. Then again, there's eight, acht in German, as in, acht, you've broken my heart! That should be food for though. :-)

hah! I honestly don't know how many I've had. Could be dozens, I shudder to say. I wasted 10 years with one guy from age 18-28 and then when I finally let go of him all hell broke loose with my longings for love. I know sex isn't love...but I loved the search! Of course the one night stands leave you empty as hell.
Some guys (most) I can't remember but I'll always remember who was the best lover.
Oh baby!!! Too bad he's an ass.
But now I'm tired and bored. I'm hoping my sixties will give me another surge! Brian's hoping the surge hits sooner ;P

And like, if I part my hair on one side, I think my head looks lopsided, but if I part it on this side, I look like a nymph...and if I wear this dress, I can pull it down just a touch to show more of my girls, LOL. Good post, great art :)
Wishing you a good day today,
Meg
