I sent a message through live help on parcel2go yesterday evening, they are looking into, why the parcel is still stuck in Paris.
So hopefully will start moving again soon.

OOOOOOOOH! I have been making the rounds looking for breakfast and only you are serving food for the eyes today! I love all of these, especially the first one because you know how much I love people with eyes set far apart - Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and they survived their mother's drinking binges! I know you hate that but that's the truth. I love lunch because I love red. Oh these artists are so creative and brilliant. I love people who paint and draw, there is something about the idea that they are out there alone putting their minds and imagination into the canvas, it's magical. I hope you are well today. I think of you everyday, funny how that is. I think of all these wonderful people in the blogs I have never met yet, I know so well, better than people I work with everyday. Love to you!

Oh drats I forgot, Kay Nielsen of course is one of the great classic children's books illustrators. Her illustrations bordered on the fantasy she had a style all her own. She is considered as great as Rackham, Pogany, N.C. Wyeth, etc. I love her trees! She had a way with illustrating animals. Hahaha! The man looks so happy to have the chance to relieve that unicorn's agony with the woody trunk.

I am feeling like the girl in the first one...worked in the middle of the night due to this silly head cold and then over slept this morning and missed my walk. Hoping your morning started off well and that you and Jacquie may see your Mommy if only through the eye of a web cam. Kisses to all of you, Deb

Ah, yes, good soup and reading under a blanket always comforts me and I think it's a great idea!! Does that mean the bats have quieted down?! Love, Silke

If I had a dandelion fluffball right now, I would blow all its wishes to you, Jacquie and your Mom for hearts' ease.

Oh, Renee, THANK YOU for the gift of you, you gave me today. I feel as if I've had an angel visitation. Tee-Hee. (On my knees, bowing to the ground, waving my hands up and down to your saintliness...) I can't tell you what it meant to me. Do it again soon and often. Love & Smiles, my pal!!!

i'll start with dinner. i can't figure it out. the person is not afraid, the breathing smoke and back feet in the air should be scary but they're not. these two could be friends. firey, quizzical friends...

breakfast: sad, too alone, this girl and her owl.

lunch: she's a brainiac, all aflame.

♥favorite moon sister. the sun still shines and the moon still illuminates...

Renee, can I say it...hate to disparage, but it is only an opinion, probably based on some childhood trauma....but this art makes me uncomfortable. I find it creepy in a way that all big eyed art and fantasy images move me towards. What does this say about me. Damn it! I knew I needed a shrink.

Javajune said...

Renee, you find the best art. I had never heard of this artist but love her artwork. I have been playing with art at my place. This time of year calls for a little creative therapy and a lot of color.
Can you believe Debra has lemons on her tree, lucky girl!
Have a wonderful weekend!

I love the first painting with the dandelions...just think of all the wishes contained in those tiny seeds.

I hope your mother is feeling more comfortable, Renee, and I hope you are as well. I don't always comment, but I read your blog everyday. I feel you are one of those Special Teachers I run into every so often. Thank you for being you! :) xo

You have the best artwork! I don't know how you are able to seek and find all of it, but you are a wellspring of inspiration.

It was so nice to hear that you are also a fan of the Goodwill. They are awesome.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend. XOXOXO

Oooh, I don't know who is more excited, lol! I hope so too.
How big is Winnipeg? If it doesn't come today it should be Monday for sure! Oh, all weekend! I think of that one, be positive, be positive!

Loads of love!

Ooh, just read the comment above. I'll be happy when your angel family arrives! ;)

My 2 cents for this weeks choices:

B) Those little elfin type characters always look too sad to me. The colors are wonderful and I love the juxtaposition of a winterscape with dandelions.

L) Wow~striking composition and colors! I think she's about to do something she won't be able to undo.

D) I can say this because I have gay male friends and they would agree with me. This guy is SO gay!! Just look at his smirk and his posture. It screams "o c'mon horsie, I dare ya big guy!"
This is hilarious!!!!!

My other two-cents worth is I adore you and I think about you every day.

Love and hugs to you, Jacquie and Ms. Daisy herself.

Renee, I think the painting moved to a different depo in Winnipeg the number code as changed. Mark said that Fedex deliver on a Saturday. Don't stay in if you are planning on visiting you're mum. I wouldn't wish for you to miss any time with her.

Love you Renee!

Julie

Batten down your Snuggie, because I'm going to blow reeeeeeeeeaaaaaal hard on all those dandelions and make a hundred wishes. Guess what I'm wishing for.

The thought of Jacquie with your mom made me so very happy.

Check your Gmail. I am the second one, only wrong color hair. But I am. The serpent is domesticated now and it fetches the mail, Beloved doesn't eat red apples, and the dogs like to pee up that tree, which naturally infuriates me. But yes, the second one is me, indeed. Now get you get that mail or the serpent will get it for you. Love you.

Compelling pictures..one never knows really whats going on under our skin (though you always tell it like it is for you); temptation that somehow feels like it would be like a drugged bliss; and the quiet whiteness of snow...each brings something. May you have a little peace today, however you reach it
