renee, once when i was commenting on your blog, i wrote words from the song 'the evening sun is shining like a red rubber ball.' and another time the song 'like a rubber ball, she'll come bouncing back to you'

i didn't know why those songs came into my head. but now i do.

no matter what you go through, how sick you are, what courage is demanded of you, you bounce back here. our hearts break for you but then we are laughing with you again, learning with you, chattering about gods and goddesses and angels and 50's housewives and mealtimes and amazing art and little girls who aren't afraid.

pardon the metaphor, but you are my bouncing red rubber ball. i hold you in my hand and i marvel, give thanks, and of course adore.

and sure as hell i do not stand here bouncing alone!

you, my beloved moon sister and Senior Angel, are so totally unbelievable wonderfully AWESOME.

!!!!

This being the year of the tiger, I guess we'll soon find out!

But what about girl tigers?

I saw that raven flying over the city and asked it to please carry a message to you. I'm glad it did ;)

love you!

You are so right, girls ARE tougher than tigers! But at my house, the cats RULE! LOL! Check out the photo at the top of my sidebar I posted last night. Taylor spent the night and we lined up four boxes and the cats hopped into them like trained (Ha!) circus animals. Love & Hugs, my pal!!! xoxoxo

For a "Soundless Saturday," that's pretty loud! The girl, I take it, was you at a younger age. You certainly have the strength even today, and plenty of grace, too.

Blessings and gentle Bear hugs from "next door."

My father's nickname for my mother is Tiger :)

I'm glad you were the first person to see and read my latest post - I wrote it with you in mind, knowing you are anxious about your mother, and hoping the concept of continuation would bring you a little comfort xx

Hi darling girl. Yes I'm okay...so sorry if you've been concerned. I've been visiting family, intending to stay only a few days but ending up staying longer. Healthwise there are good days and not so good days but I'm grateful I've been able to stay positive. In the past I haven't been but something has shifted in my brain and in the last six weeks I've felt mentally content and happy. It's strange...but very welcome. How are you my dear one...I think of you so often...

Your new blog header is a screamer. Please, pass my congrats to Kelly.

Is it just me or is that image misleading? It might be cute at first, but it points at a terrible pain deep inside and frustration. Maybe I ought to stop over-analysing works of art. Many thanks.

Greetings from London.

Checking in to see how you are, dear friend. It always worries me when I see no new posts from you. I suppose I shouldn't be so selfish, yet I can't help thinking of you throughout the day.
