I like the little mermaid. My friend Carmen has such a great blog on being a mermaid. This one with the glasses is a high tech mermaid.:) Have a great weekend.

Thanks for popping in to my blog hon! Love dying stuff - glad ya liked it!! Yes - my bodyguard - Jim is still guarding me - lol! Weve been married about ten years now. I hired him when I seperated from my first (abusive) husband. Think Ray Stevenson in "Rome" (HBO) and your pretty closes - lol. Adore the man!!

Hi Renee,
I saw you comment on Suzanne's page and I clicked here and read your self profile. The fact that you have stage 4 metestatic Breast Cancer made me cry. One of my sisters battled this same type of cancer for the past 10 years. She finally lost her battle this past November. But I wanted to share with you her secret to sucess on the battle field. She had the most wonderful positive attitude you could ever find. She approached each day as if it were a gift from God. The woman loved life. It dripped from her. Her faith in God was unlike any I have ever encountered. She truly believed that God would heal her. And finally, on November 17th, 2008 he did. Renee, I just ask that you treat each day as if it were a gift, and try to find strength in God.

I just returned home from a little 2-day trip to San Antonio and was delighted to see your "little mermaid" post. She looks like I felt many times during my younger years (except I had lots of curls).

By the way, I've tagged you. See my post for details.

Renee,
I don't know if it was Inflammatory, but it was stage 4 metestatic when she was diagnosed. It almost immediately spread to her bone and stayed there for several years. Last April it spread to her liver and her brain. They did radiation therapy on her brain, but her liver did not respond to chemo. In August she fell and broke her arm right on a tumor and when the arm started it's healing process it caused a spiraling effect. Yes, I do miss her every day, but I find strength in the fact that she is no longer suffering.
