I don't get this lagomorphic representation of Easter that ends up in sensible women insensibly consuming a dozen marshmallow chickens and chocolate shaped eggs. I don't get it. It's so so so so...modern American!

Slightly better Easter Bunny illustration this time! Hope you're still enjoying the celebration and you're not feeling too stuffed with goodies! We've just been out for an early celebration (16/4) of 32 years marriage - where have the years gone?

As I sit here waiting for the easter bunny, I'm silently wondering if he's skipping my house this year.
Little bugger.

But I did rise this morning and I do reflect on the ones I've lost and will see again.
That's way better than any candy.

Happy Easter Renee!

Barbie is a skinny doll with house, cars, ponies the lot. The films are set on sharing and being kind the good winning the bad. You can find her on the net.
I like the film Diamond Castle. Best one so far! I am sad, lol!
Do you have a favorite cartoon or film?
Best films Calamity jane, Wizard of oz. Love old films.

That reminds me of that movie The Christmas Story when he shows up in the bunny suit.

Since I notice you have some space on your sidebar, you may want to fill it up with some pretty colorful gadget.

She looks so sad, and yet makes me happy. The colour, I think.

Hey, you, Bunny Girl. Why don't you use them big ears to swat at them damn birds that keep flying around your head? You could even install little remote controlled machine guns where the birds wouldn't see them until it was to late. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!

Happy Easter dear Renee and I hope that the Easter bunny brings a lot of chocolate your way.

Also best wishes and hugs

Bun-Bun! I hope you are right now, as I type, feasting on a delectable Easter feast. I hope you have insensibly consumed tiny yellow marshmallow fowl and chocolate ovals. I hope you've held hands and hearts with family and friends.

Did you know, a few years ago, my daughter pointed at a little pamphlet and laughed saying, "Look mom, it's a hippie!" Her best friend was with her and was horrified. She quite indignantly said, "That's not a hippie. That's JESUS!" I was mortified.

Now my girls attend a Catholic school. And that same daughter said to me a few weeks ago, "How do you know evolution is real? God created everything."

Here's an entry in my diary:
January 10, 2002
Dear M and E,
My friend Cynthia told me to leave my mother alone. "She has done her job on earth, let her rest. Pray to the Big Man Himself." She is right about my mother - I don't know about God being called a "Him" - God was always asexual to me...

:)
