but sometimes when i’m standing
at the kitchen counter after dinner
and i look out the window at the dark
thinking of nothing,
something swims up.
tonight this:
your laughing into my mouth
as you were trying
to kiss me.

What beautiful words, Renee. Thank you for sharing them. Love & Blessings!
Good morning Sunshine?
OMG! How did you know? Were you watching me this morning?
HAHAHAHAHA!
How are you today? Do you feel better?
Well I just adore the picture and the words just made me smile in that...way down inside kind of delightful way. Yes.. I recognise this..wonderfulness. Thank you for the deep smiles this morning hon!! Never a bad way to start the day.
Am loving being a gypsy hon...thank you for letting me join the merry band.. am off to pinch a couple of horses...hugs and love to you sister gypsy!

That just gives me chills. It's so beautiful.
Renee, thank you thank you for this today.
I will carry it with me always. It's wonderfully romantic and poignant and real.
love, hugs, prayers.
carry all our caring for you all day
Kissing someone who makes us laugh is good, but if we're laughing at the way they kiss? NOT so much! ha!
Have a wonderful day sweetheart!!
Love, Darla
I like it very much - life is full of such small and seemingly irrelevant thoughts. My best poems were created at the kitchen sink while doing the dishes. Obviously, these poems and thoughts never made it, through my soapy hands, to paper!
It's those funny, wierd little moments we'll always cherish, which say so much about what love is. Loved this, Renee.
Hi Renee. Hope all is well. Just popped in for a few minutes. How sweet, a happy kiss. Enjoy your day. Take care.
O love that - so beautiful!! The words and the art!! Good morning to you!! I hope you are having a good morning so far! How is life as a fortune teller?! Love, Silke
Both the painting and words are wonderful!!
Was that Ces and the Viking you were watching? lol!

It started to swell with this one.Holding back the tears that wanted to flow...good tears..happy tears..I could almost taste the sweetness.Blessings to you today Sweet Renee!!
Interesting, what comes into our mind when we let it go where it wants to.
First kisses, passionate kisses, gentle kisses, playful kisses, kisses from someone who knows us best. Each is wonderful and special in its own way. Loving someone we can laugh at, and with, is priceless.
The painting and poem are perfect together, once again. Thank you, dearest.
Love and hugs (and kisses),

This is beautiful. I love it when someone can write so simply and yet create so much feeling. :) I hope you are feeling okay today, my friend. Love you - xoxoxox Pam
Sweet.
Renee, I would love to smash plates with you :-).
Love and a zillion kisses.
xoxo ♥
That is beautiful...the words and the picture.
Yes, our mind wanders when we are at our chores...Kisses are always worth remembering...Now, that's focussing on happiness. Love the painting too.
I love this - no one ever talks about it, but it's happened to me...except I'm the one who is usually laughing!
Thank you for inviting me; I would love to be gypsy #14, and am dreaming of the places we shall visit in France. We will go to the abbey whose photo I sent to you, and we will drink in all of the peace that is there. We will smell the fresh lavender & be transported by the color, and Katie will visit us (as a butterfly, like she did when we were there last summer). We will eat French delicacies and drink lovely young wine, and we will speak of true love and art and music and nature. What a time we shall have! I love you, my beautiful friend XOXO
Laughing into my mouth...this is so beautifully intimate. Hope you are having a day in which sweet laughter comes in and out of your mouth.
Thank you for a beautiful sunshine memory on this gloomy, blustery
cold day!
Wishing you a day of sunshine too!
