Dreams Sponsored By The Letter Q

Quadrille: Dancing a quadrille foretells of happiness and an upcoming wedding.

Quagmire: Signifies an inability to meet obligations and that you feel stuck in a daily non-exciting routine.

Quail: If the quail is alive it symbolizes good fortune. If the quail is dead it symbolizes bad luck. If you are the one that shoots the quail then it foretells that you will soon be arguing with a good friend.

Quarantine: Signifies a need to distance yourself from others or from a situation you may find yourself in. You need to alter your actions before you or someone else you care about gets hurt.

Quarry: Indicates that you have dug yourself into an emotional hole. This is also symbolic of feeling a deep void in the relationships in your life.

Quartet: You are seeking out support and partnerships that are more harmonious.

Queen: To dream of a queen is also symbolic of your mother. The queen symbolizes intuition, personal growth, power, and influence.

Quest: Indicates that the path toward achieving your goals may be a difficult and scary one, however, it is necessary for growth and progress. You will reach the other end.

Quilts: Signifies harmony, protection, warmth, and pleasant and comfortable circumstances. It is important to try to remember the colour and pattern of the quilt for additional significance.

Quintuplets: Represents the five senses of sight, smell, taste, hearing, and touch. It can also represent the essential and fundamental human being.

Great batch of pictures ...The good news is I now know the name of a dance I have always admired and secretly wished I knew how to do. And the bad news is I now know the name for my present state – Quagmire, I am definitely in one (I need a session with my Renapist).

Quirky pics that made me Quiver! I don't Quite Qualify for any of these Quintessential dreams. Must leave Quickly before I am Quarantined in a pit of Quicksand!

Ah! To know what we don't know, to guess its meaning even for a few seconds, to be a sage! Renee, this was fun.

Quality! Such beautiful pictures, and I never realized there were so many things starting with "q" that I might be dreaming about. Thank you!

Quail: If the quail is alive it symbolizes good fortune. If the quail is dead it symbolizes bad luck. If you are the one that shoots the quail then it foretells that you will soon be arguing with a good friend.....Ok I have neither seen or shot a quail...Im in a Quagmire with no Quadrille dancing, no quarantine as lately. The Quarry gets deeper with each year my mother the Queen resides with me (LOL)..And I am on a Quest for the Quartet of inspiration and artful insight...

Ha Ha...Used those words pretty well...B+ atleast...

Hope you had a grand weekend, and week to come.

Smiles,

Sonia ;)

Hi Renee, so missed writing to you. How are you?
I am slowly getting better, not needing as many pain killers, which is a good sign.
Loving the art you have placed with your dream interpretations! You give us all so much to learn and help understand our inner mind.
Best lessons ever, thank you!
luv and hugs!

I quaff your images to quiet my quandary, and I am quenched by your quill-work.
I stir in the wake of the quake and quest for rest.

I like them all. Sometimes I feel quarantined in quicksand, but today I feel like I'm jumping on soft feathered pillows. Hope you are doing well Renee. ::hugs:: take care.

Hi Renee,

Haven't been to your blog lately because of the 'downer days' of the Taxotere ... you know what I'm talking about.

Hope you are doing well.

I believe I have never started a dream as a queen but I have dreamt of being the king's concubine and ended up being the empress.

Ces Adorio said...

Oh I forgot to add: Then I ordered everyone beheaded. It was such a messy and noisy dream.

Hi Renee,
there's something delicious about words that start with the letter q.
I love the word quagmire - it sounds so like what it means. I should have included it in my list...

Lovely qqqqqqqqs Renee

The quest for me as well. It's good to know there's an end out there to certain adventures. And then the next will begin.

dearest renee, i know you get it and i love you for that. kj

Chrisy said...

Lovin the quadrille pic..so uplifting!...always have colorful vivid dreams filled with lots of people and things happening so find single images hard to relate to...I remember a dream analyst saying once that it's the 'feeling' that we're left with when we wake that is the real message...

Pamela Terry and Edward said...

I don't think I've ever dreamed of any of these. Maybe a quadrille. I do sometimes daydream of quiet!

Willnnabel said...

Quandary? So Renee how did the tests go? I have been thinking and keeping you in my prayers this week waiting.

Q for Queen, thats me. I often told my children "You have this home confused with a Democracy, it isn't, it's a Monarchy, and I am Queen!" (then I usually caved, so much for the Queen).

soulbrush said...

what a fantastic array renee. and i have just read your words on kj's post about grief.we have just recently 'met' here in bloggyland, but i feel i 'know' you, somewhere deep in my soul, i do. and i feel for you too. with my love. xxx

That last one makes me smile. It reminds me of Norman Rockwell.

Sometimes I have strange quest-type dreams. Recently, I dreamed that I was in search of someone's sketchbook, someone important to me. When I found the sketchbook, I was surprised to see it was exactly like mine, except that it was filled with words. Words all about me. How ego-centric!

Renee, how are you? I hope you had a restful and lovely weekend. The weather here was astonishingly gorgeous today. I've packaged some up and will send a little sunshine your way.

Coreopsis said...

What a lovely collection of words and images. If dreams, then yes, they are part of our collective consciousness.

Tessa said...

Fascinating interpretations, Renee, and again, the most perfect images to accompany them.

I'd love to have dreamt of doing a quadrille, but we were away this weekend and I dreamed that small bad child - who looked like one of those Quentin Blake illustrations for Roald Dahl - systematically smashed it's way around our house until it was just a pile of smouldering rubble.

Anyway, it was still intact when we got back and I'm sitting in it sending my love to you, dear girl!

I don't dream of any of these . . just driving over cliffs and dropping babies . .not at the same time of course!
