Dreams Sponsored By The Letter R

Rabbits: Signifies luck, magical power, and success. This means you have a positive outlook on life and in return you will have warmth and abundance in your life.

Radio: Symbolizes your awareness and intuition toward a particular situation. What you are hearing are messages from your unconscious. It is possible that it is a form of ESP or telepathic communication. If the radio is turned off in your dream it indicates that you have the ability to help or assist in a situation but are refusing to.

Rain: If you get wet from the rain it is an indication of cleansing from your troubles. Rain symbolizes renewal. If you see the rain and hear it fall it symbolizes forgiveness and grace. It is often a metaphor for tears, crying, and sadness. If the rain is tapping on the roof it denotes spiritual ideas and blessings. You receive much joy from your home life.

Rainbow: Nothing but good fortune and success when a rainbow is present. The rainbow is a bridge between your earthly grounded self and your higher spiritual self.

Raven: The raven is often seen as a symbol of intelligence, but the presence of a raven in a dream can indicate the knowledge of things that most people would prefer not to know.

Reading: Symbolizes a need to obtain more knowledge before making a decision. There is a need to review your thoughts, think things through, and consider other options.

Renee: Symbolizes rebirth or to be reborn. You may have been given a second chance to regain what was previously thought to be lost. It also relates to entering a new stage in a persons life. In all cases you look toward the future without dwelling on the past. *artwork by Yangge

Reflection: To see your reflection in a dream represents your true self. There is a need for you to look within. The reflection may highlight both your negative and positive attributes. This dream usually comes when you need to learn from your flaws and figure out how to improve on them while at the same time appreciating your good qualities. If the reflection in the mirror is a strange figure or something other than your own reflection then it suggests that you are undergoing some identity crisis. You are not sure about who you are anymore and may have lost sight of what is important to you.

River: To see a clear and calm river in your dream indicates that you are allowing your life to float away or that you are just going with the flow. It is time to take a more decisive role in directing your own life. If the river is raging than you feel completely out of control.

Rosary: A rosary in a dream symbolizes comfort, solace, or satisfaction. It is connected to the act of asking and giving.

I love your dream interpretations, Renee. I sooooo wish I could just remember my dreams. I know I dream, but can never remember them and that's frustrating!

I hope you had a wonderful Easter. Mine was ok, but I had to work, so hubby took over the cooking and we had a delicious dinner of ham and other goodies. Maybe working isn't such a bad thing, eh? lol

Love you, and am keeping you close to my heart and in my thoughts.

What an amazing collection of images and thoughts! I was having a rather blah morning--stressing about sending boy to college issues, and why in the world didn't we get his teeth straightened when he was younger, and how can I ever afford it, and it being dark and rainy yet again (though we always need the rain), and dropping a pyres pie with a hot-out-of-the-oven banana cheesecake and having it shatter, and my younger son being in a surly agree-with-everything-I-say-but-not-mean-a-word-of-it-and-why-don't-you-just-get-off-my-case attitude, etc. and then here's this. I love the whole concept, and the whole content. THANK YOU!!!

..and did I say how wonderful the images are?

oh wow!!! this is so interesting Renee...My Mom always talks about dreams and what they mean...she even had a journal by her bed so she could write everything down while she still remembered the dreams...when she predicted stuff would happen it scared my Dad and he ended up getting rid of her journal...we still laugh today...

wonderful reads and great art!!!

Have a great day....

Ahhh rain. We had a bit of it on Sunday & it helped to renew our grasses & plants.

What a great collection of images! Can you guess my favorite? ;)

Last night I dreamt of being xrayed before having my hair done! It was the hair stylist that was taking the xrays. It was quite weird. I also dreamt of the heels coming off of my loafers. I wondered why my shoes were making an odd noise and when I looked down and held up my foot, the heels were worn and hanging by nails.(I don't wear loafers!)
I know you had 'xray' in a dream series before. I'll have to look it up. The shoe thing could just be another childhood flashback! :)
Don't tell my sister!!

yes, I did the Queen images for you and Baino at the request of KJ. I included your little red bird from the header, but this time she sits on your shoulder in a non'threatening way.

The image I used for 'fleeting' is one of my soulcollage series. You should check out the website at www.soulcollage.com

The meaning of this card is "I am the one who still believes in the magic of childhood imagination. All things are possible"

You can see the dark figure in the foreground. The adult little girl looking on. Soulcollage is a powerful process. I'll post one now and again.

I hope you had a wonderful easter day.
Thanks for all of your wonderful comments. You're so kind and loving!

hugs and smooches sister raven.

"R" for me these days has been meaning "Refrigerator" and brother I've been opening and closing. It's time to think putting my "mug" on the "R"efrigerator door so that I can see myself. In fact my husband just took a picture of me yesterday and I didn't care for how "R"ound my face is getting."R" you understanding what I am saying? I need to stop eating so much:))Anyways.....I hope you had a wonderful Easter, now I have to get going to do some exercise and actually before I go, I must say that "R"eally thee "R" I'm thinking of "Right" now is "Renee", whose "Radiance" flows freely. Take care and have a gRRRRRRReat day.

Renee--is it okay to answer your answer to my comment here? Thank you so much for your reply. I just wanted to say that I kindof (well...totally) made up the recipe for banana cheesecake--I had some leftover graham crackers, butter, cream cheese, eggs, sugar (which I also ended up spilling the rest of on the kitchen floor--I don't know what was going on yesterday), and bananas, and I love making desserts, and since I was going to a potluck, what a perfect opportunity to make a dessert and not eat it all myself (though I did plenty of sampling while I was making it). And I too would have dug around through the glass too, except that it was safety glass and shattered into a million pieces, some of which are still in the cracks in the floor.

And yes college--Kalamazoo College, to be precise, with some very hefty but perhaps not hefty enough financial aid. I know it's really silly to fret about things, but sometimes it's hard not too. I'm much better when I'm working in my garden, or making a picture, or teaching, or making music, or reading wonderful blogs like yours.

Thanks again for your response!

I love the dream of Renee! That is so cool that your name represents rebirth! Fantastic.

I have a dream post scheduled for Tuesday in which I talk about a recurring dream of mine - I found it very frightening at one time in my life.

Hugs and love to you,

Oooo, i like this collection of illos, esp the rabbit and the rain one.
A famous indian actress adopted a child and called her Renee. In an interview, she spoke about what the name meant and how she whispered 'Renee'into the ear of all the babies in the orphanage until one of them dazzled her with a smile...

Wonderful as always!! You "Renee" have encouraged some very new aspects of my life - so this must be true!!

I just happened to remember my dream from last night: I was supervising a couple of little ones as they were about to get into a river to swim and cool off after a long voyage. I chose two to supervise; I delegated other adults to do the same.

My main worry was how to read the river before I allowed the children to get in. I woke up with that worry.

See what you do to us, Renee?

WE'll never let a dream pass us by.

It is so neat to read your posts on dream interpretation. I have had some interesting dreams, some that I have written down even, but they don't fit the interpretation (darn). I'll just have to make of them what I will.

P.S. Love ya Renee, you are such a fantastic person!!

I like your insight into my dream. You make a lot of sense to me, wise as you are.
I'm feeling quiet energy from you today. Are you resting without worry? Try to do that please.

I've been packing and tossing things away today. Boxes and boxes of cards and letters that I've kept over these 16 years here. I had to let them go. It's okay. They're in my heart and they're easier to carry that way ;)

Now I'm off to "corgi heal." He's such a good dog and I adore the owners. I don't envy telling them I'm leaving. I'll hold off as long as I see fit.

Time to mozy on. I'll check in again to tuck you in :)

love you xoxoxoxoxox

Ciao Renee. What a wonderful list of dream interpretations, they're so inspiring. Too bad I can never remember my dreams, it's so damn frustrating!

I hope you had a great Easter. Ours was dreamy, down in Sorrento.

I love how you list Renee for rebirth in French, in Italian your name translates to Renata from ri-nata, same reborn meaning. I'd love to dream you. All my usual affestion for you, tightly keeping you close to my heart. Ciao

Great pictures.

One day long years ago, the thought occurred to me that if the poor rabbit whose foot I was carrying had such abysmal luck with four functioning rabbit feet, why should I expect to do better with one dead one. I soon became a nonbeliever.

I imagine there were many kids dreaming of rabbits this past week.

Hooray! One of my favorite letters of the alphabet. Well, remember that dream I had of you? It all makes sense now, and I love it.

Last night I had a very strange and thrilling dream. I looked out the window, and I could tell I was on a giant revolving planet, and I could see other planets so close by and also revolving. It was kind of like being on a Disney teacup ride in space.

Hope you had a good day, love.

Hi Renee, thank you for your message, I have worked it out why I was so sad. I was given some new tablets from the doctors and they were reacting with me. I sat thinking why I was so down for no reason. Then clicked. I am ok now. By, drugs can do some funny stuff!
Hoping you have had a great weekend Renee? Not to many chocolate easter eggs!
Do you like Canada? I see some programs on tv of the beautiful outside world of Canada and it looks positively the most beautiful place on earth.
Is there any signs of spring yet?
