Good morning. I am painting today - finally! After two years of creative drought.

An aphid is a very tiny insect that eacts plants. Sometimes you see them clustered on a leaf, they are different colors but the more common ones are white.

Good morning, Renee. The deconstruction & reconstruction are almost complete. The tile guys just arrived to grout Gerald's bathroom. Monday the grout will be sealed & all will be done with floors.
The appliances were delivered Friday, but the stove had a huge dent in the side (discovered when the box was opened) so a new one will come on Tuesday. We're away for the weekend on one of Gerald's golf tournaments & will be back Sunday evening ... so no cooking until Tuesday!
Have a good weekend!

ooooh, lovely image.

Do you know I never used the word 'lovely' in my life until I started blogging? So funny! But it fits so well here and so often.

Sending love from California and wishing you a gentle, sunny day.

love,
Lolo

Just in case I go on a long absence, know I am thinking of you. It may be due to the fact that my hands are soiled with oil paints. I have been chided for touching things while painting. Telephones, microwaves, refrigerator handles have oil paints, so can't blog - but everyone thinks it's alright for me to pick up dog poop!

Yes, The Renee Award should be going around soon.

Ciao lovely lady. The painting is beautiful, a bit scary though. It reminds me of when the thundestorm, dried tree branches and the wind team up to paint strange shadows on my walls.

What a thought-provoking image, Renee! Dreams (when sleeping or awake) are so fascinating. It's like a conversation we have with ourselves. But, in a subconscious level which can at times be much more important. And, meaningful.

Have fun and laugh, laugh, laugh. har-har-har.

P.S. Naughty can be nice:)

I love your insight on the tablet in the 'room without mirrors'....i have found it is true freedom to be released from the effect of other people's (limited) view of who i am or what they perceive me to be. i don't really care anymore. i know who i am in the light of God's unconditional love and truth. that's what really matters. the Truth will set you free! In that light we are beautiful in the eyes of the Beloved.
blessings of wellness and peace,

This is a lovely image and a beautiful poem. What I love about the things you post, Renee, is that there is always so much more to discover - I wanted to find out more about this one and discovered a beautiful poem and a very interesting artist,Terry Windling, who has homes in the west country in England as well as Arizona .I recognised that English country influence in her poem. Keep 'em coming Renee!!

Renee,

I like the picture...reminds of being a child and all the imagination that takes place when we are a sleep...Find it a comforting place and picture....Because when we dream we never know what dreams may come our way...a game of chance...

Smiles,

Sonia ;)
