Don't think this little lady would have to study up much...she's got the look and the attitude of a perfect Queen Bee....lovin the asymmetrical eyes....

Now I am worried that I have upset you. Are you okay???

Ces Adorio said...

Aaarhg! She can't be a bee. They'll tear her silken wings. She needs to soar, not swarm. See now she looks like a prisoner with her striped dress. But is she is a moth then she can pretend to be a bee. I do not like moths, they always know how to select the most expnsive outfit in the closet.

Love her legs

The more I see, the better my appreciation and the more i like mixed media art ... enjoyed my 5 minutes of fame with our little "queen in waiting" yesterday.

Ces Adorio said...

Ahhck! I thought she was a moth. She is a wasp! So she better not be a pretend bee. She will spoil the colony and probably kill all the bees. She is a spy a terrorist!

Manon said...

I love the eyes! The eyes have it! : )

Ces Adorio said...

Oh goshdarnit! You are making me cry. Why are you so good to me? I am so insecure about my art and your comments are mindblowing. I don't mean to question you but I will leave it to my critics. I just paint what I feel like painting not because someone will like it or will want it. Sometimes they are painful to paint but you are so good to me, so thank you. I want to paint this weekend but I have to do money work, my project implementation this weekend, so I don't really know what I want because I want to paint but I love the security and the money that my job provides...I cannot be a starving artist I have children! So I settle to be a Sunday painter. Viola!!!

Hello Renee! I've been away this week and am now catching up with your last few posts. Such good news about your tests results!!! I read that post with everything crossed for a positive outcome. Love this Bee illustration!

I can't read the font, Sweetheart.

I've missed you. You will never be able to not come around my blog and me not notice--haven't you noticed that?

I hold you in my heart warmly. Oh, but what good news you received from your doctor. May it ever be so.

I see many of my blogging friends on your comments' page, and that makes me happy.

Ces Adorio said...

HAHA! You are funny!

I am a CONSERVATIVE FIRST AND FOREMOST. I believe in conservative principles and values. I am a registered Republican. I have never voted for a Democrat in my entire life. My parents taught me be self sufficient. I do not look forward to entitlements to sustain me. I believe I can manage my own money and know how to save. I do not buy anything I cannot afford to pay. I live a simple life free of debt. I believe in the principles espoused by the founding fathers of this country. I do not think the constitution and the bible are open to interpretations based on current political and social trends. I believe in compassion and I believe in helping others stand on their own two feet and care for themselves. I do not believe in helping people so they can be demagogue into supporting politicians who make them even more dependent. That to me is modern day slavery and the politicians are the masters. If there is anything in my life that you think I ought to change and be better served by being a liberal, socialist, Marxist or communist please let me know. Oh yes, I believe that marriage is an institution between a man and a woman. Can anybody be a family with anybody? YES! Absolutely. I can declare you are my sister and you are my family. Should gays have equal rights? Yes they should be allowed to claim each other as dependents. Are they married to me? HECK NO. HELL NO! They are couples. They are a pair, a duet. Can they reproduce by themselves, NONONONO. There goes the law of natural selection. Human civilization begins and ends with a man and woman. Are all my friends Republicans? NO, but all my friends are good people. My relationship and my love for them transcend political parties.

Are you liberal? YES!
Do I love you? YES! YES! YES!

She looks perfectly equipped for the job! And wanting a job is half the qualification needed to do it well, isn't it? Hope you have a lovely weekend!

Ces Adorio said...

Hardy HAR HAR to you too. And I am not going to use the F word. That is so yesterday!

I do not like crowds, to me tea is an intimate delicate affair. You want to have tea with me? You better be prepared. I am going to disrobe your mind.

Beautiful little queen bee. I love the red boa, the eyes & shoes!

Found Ces' comments interesting, but couldn't make the connection with the bee post. So I went to her blog & think I follow where it came from. Glad she can transcend the conservative political feelings to correspond with liberal folks. Likewise I have many conservative friends & look beyond their political & religious beliefs to enjoy being with them as long as we don't have to talk religion or politics.
Your Salon certainly IS INTERESTING... & that's what you want it to be... a place to exchange ideas, discuss feelings, find common ground. You are wonderful Miss Renee!

Hah! Lizzy's comments rock but I have to tell you! I met so many friends because we disagreed on some issues. My current favorite analysts at work has liberal leanings, well she is sadly a Democrat. We were attending the same design meeting and we really liked each other, getting so excited that we were to collaborate. The room was mostly filled with conservative analysts because we are in Texas (which by the way is only 8% of the USA population but provided 75% of all the jobs in the US last year and also has no state income tax). The conservatives and Republicans down here do not discuss their views, there is no need, they let the outcomes speak for themselves. Anyway we started talking about the elction (before November). There was a heated discussion. Most conservatives would just keep quiet and walk away but I responded and she was so shocked. After the meeting we went our separate ways. I got back to my office the following day and I received an email from her. She was so saddened to hear my opinions were different from hers. People think I am liberal, maybe because I paint, whatever, she offered an explanation and a hope that we will be able to collaborate productively and a the most eloquent letter about friendship. So naturally we are very very good friends now. We confide in each other, support each other emotionally. We are implementing a project this weekend, the two of us will be up in the middle of the night on Monday at 00:01. So I just want you to know that the world revolves quite nicely because people with principles and sound values resolve to work together peacefully and I think there is a certain amount of caring for the human being, not the registered voter.

What? What's this! Ces is disrobing you?! But...but.... Better watch out, Renee. You know how those conservatives can get.

She's beautiful. Wish I could pull off a look like that, maybe with just a bit smaller head.

Have a great weekend!

Ces Adorio said...

Why are you still up. It is late. I have an excuse. I am working from home.

Those democrats are so literal. I am using disrobing in afigurative manner. Hmph!

Ces Adorio said...

So you are nice in my blog, all proper and then you talk behind my back over at Bella's? WHUT WHUT? Is Colette a Democrat? I think not!

Ces Adorio said...

Stop corrupting your sisters! They are going in the right direction, RIGHT!

Before we go any further, remember I love you.

Hope you are having a great weekend Renee. We are busy cooking away -it is my Dad's 70th Birthday Party tomorrow :)

Jeanne Estridge said...

YOU painted that?! (New to your blog, trying to figure things out, sorry about the gawking.)

Man, some people get all the talent....

Ces Adorio said...

My dearest Friend, you of all people. Leave Josephine be. let her live so that she exercises critical thinking. She is a Gemini, she will be artistic, intellectual, svelte, thin, energtic, eloquent. She will be loved. The room will light up when she enters it. She will drive the men and women ;) crazy. She will be carefree and wild BUT she will also be precocious, thoughtful, caring, kind, curteous. She will hate injustice, she will stand up to bullies, protect the weak and meek, she will be wonderful. If she becomes a liberal more power to her. She will be a great woman. If she will believe in conservative principles, she will be perfect. I will make it a point to think of her. I have a little friend in Canada!

Ces Adorio said...

I did not rein in your language! So there you go liberal - distorting what I said!!! Hardy har har!!! I said you are free and wild! I will never swear carelessly in front of Josephine. If she ever hears me swear, she will be old enough and know that my swearing is the most sensuous thing she will ever hear.

Ces Adorio said...

I have a project implementation this weekend, again! I am also on call on certain nights so up most of the night. I make up for it somehow. I slept yesterday morning and afternoon. My hsuband is very understanding. He makes sure the children get to eat.

Ces Adorio said...

Of course not! You silly! :)

You are getting me so excited. I am so happy to see you up and out so early today. I need a timeout. My neck is ready to explode from excitement. My jaw is hurting from smiling. First Bella. Then Bjornik and now you! You make me so happy. Thank you, but I need a time out. I have to withdraw and draw. Oh that rhymes.

Hope your having a great weekend with lots of laughs and fun!
Yeah I saw this on the news last week about the bees. Hope this super bee is going to help? Lets hope, I for one would be very sad to see them go, sure as everyone on this entire planet. They are such beautiful creatures and a blessing from God.

All my love Renee!

I never needed to "study" how to be a Queen, for as you all know, "We" are born a "Queen", and therefore all ways are the Queen's ways. To my fellow Queen in Canada, I say hello.

Just for my Renee, to let her know that I am not vampire, I slept all day! Now to work!

P.S. Vampires don't listen to The Beatles!

Snowbrush said...

P.S. Vampires don't listen to The Beatles!

Well, certainly not the the White Album because it reminds them too much of daylight. I have, however, know several vampires who enjoyed the Beatles later works.

Ces Adorio said...

HAHAHAH! "She's Leaving Home, Bye Bye" is on the Sgt. Pepper's Album which is an earlier beatles Album. You are right though Renee, Sleeping all day is kind of vampirish? Uh uh! Maybe I am Irish!? I need to ask BT. Hahahah!

Bluh, bluh. I vant to suck your blood.

Now what undead creature doesn't like the Beatles? I can imagine, if I were a vampire -- no, spelled vampyre, thank you -- I'd be tapping my toes to Obladi Oblada while sucking on a neck or two.

Ces Adorio said...

Go ahead Renee. She had lots of hot peppers applied on her lips by her exasperated mother because she swore like a sailor. She swore so terribly it shocked her father - speechless, her five sisters, her two brothers and her most patient and loving mother.

Ces Adorio said...

No, can you believe I have not been to France yet?

Never been to the crypts.

I knew a dude named Lester, hmn, long blonde hair, blue eyes, 6'1" hairy arms, baritone voice, tightened my chain all the time - bicycle chain, I mean.

The French Quarter stinks. I have been there. My friend and I left the conference one day and gallivanted in the French Quarter. It was oungent of urine, old and dirty and I had this constant urge to pressure-wash the streets and walls. I have no desire to go back there unless I am with Colette. I have a gold cricifix on a gold chain blessed by Pope John Paal II.

BTW, Bella never mentioned anything about being curious about these things. Are you just dragging her along?

Ces Adorio said...

Your footsteps are all over the Internet instigating this awful rumor about a certain vampyre!

Argh!

Madame Instigator Renee. AHA! So you are here rousing some trouble, no?!

Let me tell you I won't sleep again tonight because that's when I go live! Maybe you call that vampyre but in my line of work we call it Information Systems project implementation. We stay up at night so it will be the least disruptive. BELLAAAAA!!! You need to defend me here. Tell her she is out of line!

You are making a mountain out of a speck of sand!

It sounds like a liberal Democrat hyping some "conspiracy theory".

Leester, Lester, Lester! He was very good! He had a nice body and he was three years youngers. Uh-hmn. He was not afraid of daylight in fact he preferred daylight!

BTW, I love you! Hmn. I love your neck!

Ces Adorio said...

Aaaargh! is this your way of converting me to be a liberal Democrat? Aaacck! Argh!

(I am laughing so hard. You are going to get me in trouble with the Viking!)

Kiss Josephine for me tomorrow, please.

Ces Adorio said...

OKAY OKAY. I give up. I confess. I am a closet angel. I try to be mean and tough but I am a real angel.

Ces Adorio said...

WHAAAT?! Bella told you about what?! Is this your way of getting information from me? Huh huh!

Crap renee, you make me look like a crazy woman laughing my head off in bed. It's a good thing the Viking is watching after-games sports news.
