Fantasies are fun - love the images you share.

This is a tough one - I can't figure out the connection between the three! But I like them! Aside from the snakes in the third picture.

Ms Renee, I read on Meghann's blog that you were not feeling well. Are you okay dear friend?

And as for the public speaking...DEAL!
Love to you!

Oh Renee - fucking universe is right! And blessed universe also! I am thrilled that there is wee Dominic in your lives, and I am so afraid for you and your Mom. What the fuck!

I am doing okay - I have a specialist appt in Sept - thank you governmental cut-backs, for your unwavering sense of urgency when it comes to health care issues! Bottom line (hmmm...funny as my problems are all centered in my bottom!) they think there is damage caused by the radiation to the organs surrounding my uterus. The specialist will take a look, and determine if surgery is needed.

Oh and have I mentioned - I hate fucking cancer! And pneumonia! And infection!

Hope you are feeling better soon dear Renee!

Beautiful selections again Renee. I think I like the first one the best.

I read Audrey's post here and I also hope you are feeling ok!

Thanks for liking the pieces I do that I'm most unsure of. You give me hope on soooooo many levels, not just art :)

Love, Darla♥

OMG, Renee, I love that first picture! I could write a thousand poems about it. Maybe it's the gardener in me, but I just love the woman as the nourishing honeycomb waiting for the pollen-bearing bee to come and make honey. Oh, the sweet metaphors that are buzzing around in my head! LOL!

You've outdone yourself today, dearest Renee! Thank you for sharing your artist's heart with us. Blessings & Joy!!!

Hi Renee, great selection. Love the honey-bee and honey-comb in her belly. Portentuous.

I love the contrast between the trust & relative tranquility of the rider safe up there on her horse ... and the ssssssnakes. I wouldn't be so calm, even from so far up! I hope you're doing OK today Renee and that your weekend is good too. xxJ

A young woman as a honey cone...
A terrier a bagpipe while the ocean crashes around him....
AND a young girl riding a pony through a garden of snakes ( feigning to look like flowers) hmmm.

I think in this Fantasy Friday blog pictures...

I have been a young girl riding a pony (and that's a truth) and when I was young I felt like I could be walking in a den of snakes (and I'm not afraid of snakes, that's another truth)

But snakes sometimes do mean danger and the other things I won't go in to : )

I think I've finally kicked most of the snakes out of my way and just ride my pony....

Dear Renee, I hope your doing well. These are interesting, though the girl with the honeycomb body is a little bit startling. I'm sending good thoughts and prayers over your way, hope you feel well.

If I had to guess, I'd say "transformation". Love the images - except the first one is rather scary.
Hugs - hope you are well.

Such metaphorical symbolism. Isn't breakfast so painfully true? I doubt however if the howling of the terrier is as melodic as as a bagpipe and as for dinner will red on yellow kill a horse?

Are you okay my dear?

Ces Adorio said...

By the way, why so much agony and death wishes?

Meghann said...

Very neat - I like the lone wolf piper - very surreal and haunting.
I'm sorry you haven't been feeling well. I hope today was better!
Hugs and prayers as always!

Hi Renee,

Two of my favourite things ~ honey bees and Scotch terriers.
My Mother's family was from Scotland, way back, so I guess that is why I like the tartan and bagpipes.

Sending hugs and hope that this finds you feeling better today.

Hugs & well wishes, my friend,
Carolyn

This collection made me ask a million and one questions Renee :) a bee to an inner hive, a scotty playing the world bag pipes, and a maiden calmly riding horse back through a flower filled snake pit... hmmm, what could they all be saying as a group?! i'll have to think on this.
much love, karin

That first one is terribly disturbing but yet undeniable. Holy crow. What a mind to have created that!
