good morning Renee, wishing you a peaceful, sunny soundless Saturday, with a few giggles mixed in, like the one you provided me with this artwork :) love you, Karin
That is so cute Renee. You find the greatest artwork. Just stopped by before I go on to housework activities. I want to do my work so that I can go in my studio and "play." Hope you are okay and I wish you a great day. God Bless You and take care.
Good morning Renee! Cute cartoon!! Just waiting for my ride and them I'm out of town to a wedding tonight. Nothing decent to wear so a stop of panic shopping at Kohls is also on my agenda :)
Ah, ah! Funny! I hope it matches your mood this weekend. I'm looking forward to my grandchild's visit in August. She and I will learn a few extra things about each other.
Renee, have I told you I love you lately? I do! You crack me up!!! I've gotten a sort of tan this year for the first time in years just from watering my flowers and garden for about 15 or 20 minutes every day. It feels absolutely SINFUL. I love the sun. The world wouldn't need as much Prozac if we could all get more sun every day. Great post!!
I've given up on sunscreen -- and I moderate my exposure to sunlight. Sunscreen lotion gives my skin the crawlies -- do you notice how long it takes to rub the stuff in!? I wonder how people feel in their skin who work outdoors and *need to* use sunscreen ... and I wonder how its use affects children's tender skin, even as it protects ...
I'm getting my daily dose of Vitamins D and L (= Light) and wearing the silky lotion that both my husband and I love. Yum. Happy skins, a scent of "us" ... and I've come to really appreciate shade and cloudy days :-)
Renee, you have a way of evoking joy in the heart of a reader ... no matter what you write of and picture ...
... and *Bah!* I say to the SPF 8000. ;-)
Bless xo
P.S. Good God, is this cartoon a way of suggesting we should wear some kind of "screen-screen"?? :-O
Hi Renee, We always bring ourselves into art. I'm not sure what to make of this one. I am a sunscreen wearer, but I think I may be missing something about the 8000 spf. Thinking of you and hoping you are having a great day with your krewe! Love to you. Surrounding you in happy thoughts~ Constance xox
hee hee, i always have to wait to see other people's comments because i don't get the punchline of so many soundless saturdays! then when i do i think i must be dense for missing it to begin with! so my darling renee, i will wait this time too!
except to reach through blogland to tell you i'm still planting plenty of 'fucks' in your garden and don't forget: they are protectors. cancer cells hate garden fucks. if you don't believe me i will cite an 1973 research study from the new england journal of medicine. :)
oh dear the sun was out today but not renee. darn that woman that she snuggles in and gets herself so comfortable that you miss her when she's not around. still, knowing she's living and loving in some corner somewhere gives enough warmth you think of her and smile anyway...
Thank your for setting me straight! You have a advanced sense of humor. Does Wahid? In the middle of the night I thought about how I have worn sunscreen on my face for 8005 days of my life. Isn't that weird?

i love you moon sister.
I love it! You always have something interesting on your blog.
SPF 8000! Surely something that Al Gore, self-proclaimed Father of the Internet, invented cannot be harmful!
I guess it has to be that strong if we never go outside.
Hope all is well with you.
Love and hugs.
Mmmm you learn something new everyday :-)

Yes, sitting inside at one's computer is a good sunscreen!

8000! Have we got to that level yet? :-).
Many thanks.
