High Priestess

I took the test where I found out what tarot card I am. If you want to join in the fun, click on the link at the bottom of the page.

I am the High Priestess. Science, wisdom, knowledge and education are the areas that most interest me.

The High Priestess is the card of knowledge, instinctual, supernatural, secret knowledge. The High Priestess holds scrolls of arcane information that she might, or might not reveal to you. The moon crown on her head and the well as the crescent by her foot indicate her willingness to illuminate what you otherwise might not see, reveal the secrets you need to know. The High Priestess is also associated with the moon however and can also indicate change of fluxuation, particularly when it comes to her moods.

============================
You are The Empress
Beauty, happiness, pleasure, success, luxury, dissipation.

The Empress is associated with Venus, the feminine planet, so it represents, beauty, charm, pleasure, luxury, and delight. You may be good at home decorating, art or anything to do with making things beautiful.

The Empress is a creator, be it creation of life, of romance, of art or business. While the Magician is the primal spark, the idea made real, and the High Priestess is the one who gives the idea a form, the Empress is the womb where it gestates and grows till it is ready to be born. This is why her symbol is Venus, goddess of beautiful things as well as love. Even so, the Empress is more Demeter, goddess of abundance, then sensual Venus. She is the giver of Earthly gifts, yet at the same time, she can, in anger withhold, as Demeter did when her daughter, Persephone, was kidnapped. In fury and grief, she kept the Earth barren till her child was returned to her.

you are absolutely the high priestess. i totally agree with the description as you 've done much of that for me.

I, on the other hand, am the moon -i hated my description and don't agree with it. the three key words were hope, expectation, bright promises, and i was like right on, but then after it went into visions, madness, dreams, nightmares, "a scary card", tricks and falsehoods, powerful magic, emotional and mental trial, past emotional problems, intuition.

Hi Renee (High Priestess)

Do you remember when you brought your tarot cards to work (Rev Can)?
You did mine, and I was Demeter. That was so much fun. Now, I see I am Empress, who ironically is more Demeter.
Very interesting!
Love ya

I'm with Aunty Colette on this one: I too am the Empress. I was on the fence about it though... so i clicked "back" and changed my card deck... and it reassured me i was still the Empress. -haha

(Aunty Colette I can't help but laugh and think: 'want to go for starbucks?' -haha)

Ps.Natalie your post made me laugh; especially when i got to the end and read "intuition" as "institution". -haha.

I am the wheel of fortune - the card that seems to return to me over an over again.

The Wheel of Fortune is all about big things, luck, change, fortune. Almost always good fortune. You are lucky in all things that you do and happy with the things that come to you. Be careful that success does not go to your head however. Sometimes luck can change.

Natalie, don't be upset about being the Moon. In the aboriginal culture, they ask the moon for advice; the moon is like their mother or aunt or grandmother; it is their support. That would mean that you have a very supportive nature and that people trust you. I am also the Moon and I have learned over the years to trust my intuition/instincts. Trust what you feel and it will serve you well. I hope this helps.

I am also the wheel of fortune. isn't that what i had when you read my cards too?

Yes Angelique. You and Nadalene always seem to get it. It is a good card and a card that is totally about the real world.

So living in the present is what you both need to do. And always know that things go round and round.
