I totally agree!!! I think we should all have our own soundtrack playing in our lives!! Jim was given his official release yesterday - we are thankfull today!!!! Hope things are going ok hon!! Love you, Sarah
I agree completely - it is cathartic. Music and art make me believe in God. And there seems to be a type of music for every mood and need. :) I just realized that I have music on while I do my art, but not when I write. Never thought about it before! Love to you my friend, sending you sweet songs! xoxo Pam
music like this................................................................................................................... I just sang a song for you- I appologize.
Hi Renee, life without music would definitely be dull. Why music is the soul of our being. It invigorates us, refreshes our soul so to speak. Sometimes it makes us sad, mellow, blue, but what would it be like without music. I don't want to know. I would still be going around la la la la la la la la lallaaaaaaaaa :O hee/haw Have a great day and my thoughts are with you.
I could not imagine my life without music in form or fashion. Music is the center of my life. I not only love to listen to it, but I also write songs and sing professionally. My heart is filled with warmth when I am able to share that gift/ability with others.
Strike up the band! Funny how we take music, and natural sounds for granted; when they are gone, when we notice their absence, we are in need of comfort, in need of resuscitation.
p.s.
I still hear my mother's lullabies sometimes as I'm preparing meals. I left home when I was a teen; saw Mom a couple times after that; my longing for her is connected to her songs, and her food.
Life with out you would not be fair either. Thank you for being music in my life. Oh Renee I probably love Halloween more because I manufactured for retail for so many years. By the time Christmas came I was a puddle of speechless incoherence. I also think it is because I could be childlike and carefree, dress up as a witch and get away with it. LOL!! Madi is so full of love that she will just add Bella to the rest of you wonderful aunties. She indeed feels very very blessed to have you all.
I was just going to say that I cannot live without noise or music in my life then realised that I'm sitting here at 8:04 on a Sunday morning listening to nothing but birdsong and wind chimes. I guess there's music in everything. It's quite charming actually.. .dance today sweet Renee even if it's only on the inside. Thinking of you.
Music: Medicine for the sick soul. Has been for me anyway. Many times over. I am, at the moment listening to "Autumn Leaves" by Eva Cassidy. I don't know how I lived so long without knowing about this beautiful songbird introduced to me only last year. Beautiful Songbird angel,,,,
Without music, life would not be. The harmony of nature, along with the lyrics within us bring us to existence. (Time for me to tamper out this joint.) JUST KIDDING!!!
I don't smoke dope. Did once. It made me stupid...and I don't like stupid, and not being in control of myself.
renee, right this minute i am sitting with eight friends and three guitars and we are singing our heads off. some of us are blogging, some knitting, some eating, but all of us are singing.
here's a wheelbarrel of love from me to you. i think of you most on weekends.
ain't this the truth! nor art or poetry, or novels - and I'm glad to hear you never knocked your head while reading and walking at the same time :) I've never been known for gracefulness!! more like the queen of klutz. love and hugs, Karin
So true, great post, includeing the image and all, also with music you can stop your own ethernal conversation with yourself. I do not know what music is not able to make.
The rain, softly falling outside the door to my studio (corner of my large laundry room LOL)is my music this early morning. Music comes in so many forms. Morning love to you, Lynda

If I get too busy with my crafts and I don't hear music for a while...then I'll hear a song and I think what a waste,, I could have been listening to music the whole time.. I realize how much I missed it. Then I want to dance to it....Thanks for making me remember to take time to listen to music. Love you Hugs Rene

Life can be desperately unfair even with music. It's just that music can hlep heal you when life is being so unfair.

Oh but who said life was fair?.... then again sometimes life without music is fair, at least for me when I hear rap or jazz.
How ya doing lady? I am wrapping up swaps and the planning of my daughters shower in January.

Oh, the beauty and simplicity of so few words and so big a thought! Many thanks.
Greetings from London.
The rain, softly falling outside the door to my studio (corner of my large laundry room LOL)is my music this early morning. Music comes in so many forms. Morning love to you, Lynda

Completely agree!
yes indeed, I get hooked on one song for a long long time and listen to it over and over and over.
over and over in my head, these lyrics, for some reason, assigned to you, dear friend:
And I think it's gonna be alright
Yeah, the worst is over now
The mornin' sun is shinin' like a red rubber ball
I am reminded that one of my favourite sounds is that of geunine love.
Followed by delight or laugther.
Followed by silence where one has room to think and ponder.
Without music, life would not be worth living ... !
Loving you, Renee -- thinking on you every day -- wondering what's happening with your loves ... xoxo
~i agree~ x
But life isn't fair.
Sometimes, life gets so ridiculously bad that you can't help but laugh. Just shows that life has not gotten the best of you yet.
I thought about you all day today. xoxoxo

I love it!
That makes me laugh! I love music and I don't want to piss music off, but life's still not fair, just richer for it.
