Oh my goodness, you sure know how to make me laugh! I just love coming here for that, and the poignancy, and sure, a few tears, too. Thanks for the realm of experience Renee, but especially the bottom line humor in it all! love, Karin
Ah, you had me laughing first thing this morning. I so relate to that cartoon. I've worked in offices most of my life and one boss even banned popcorn because he hated the smell of it burned.
This is why I refuse to work in an office! The popcorn issue. It never goes away!
I loved the dream you had. I'm flattered that I appeared and that I helped you with my whispering. I wonder if Lynne was tying prayer flags on that tree?
BTW, a cottage by the sea is a dream of mine, esp if it's on Cape Cod. I think we should all have our own rooms ;)
I adore you! Thank you! Thank you, thank you, thank you! And great advice on the DNR. I will try that one out on my Doc the next time I see him. Stay well my dear Renee. We all need you (selfish I know, but true! You inspire!) Much love to you xoxoxo
OK, almost every night, my hubby and I microwave a bag of popcorn. He gets all upset when I stop the popping short because he wants ALL the kernels popped, whereas I want all the kernels not to be black and therefore inedible. We'll both stand at the whirring microwave and he squirms and whines "nooOOOOooo" as my finger hovers in front of the STOP button.
renee, thank you for your comment to my last blog post. it seems to me that people tell me who they are all the time, with every nuance, intonation and gesture. and when they ask me what i do, their reactions always reveal even more.
Hehehe! That really was a coffee-all-over-the-screen moment, Renee! You are singular, girl! Love you to bits and pieces. It's so great to have time to catch up on one of my favourite blogs on the 'net. I'm going now for a leisurely stroll down through those posts of yours that I've missed lately.
How, did you know I burnt the popcorn, lol! I placed some in the microwave last week for 3 minutes, and yes it stinks, right enough! My daughters laughed at me, because they knew it was only 2 minutes! Keep smiling, Renee!

South Carolina sounds nice. I've never been there. Depending on what's what, I'm in!!
I popped in on Karin. I like her!
I think you should email me with your snail mail address. Maybe I could do something better than a pigeon for Venus.

And another thing: THANK YOU for visiting Beth Kephart's blog and reading the interview - I really appreciate that!
