9 3/4 Blogland Lane

Welcome all who are pure of heart and have loving intentions.

My home is like my heart. It is ever expanding.

Let's say grace. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Thank you our Lord for these thy gifts which we are about to receive from the bounty of Christ our Lord Amen. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.

Josephine and Domenic it is time for your afternoon naps.

Up the down staircase.

The teapot is never empty.

There are many doorways leading in and out of my house; feel free to enter or leave. No one is hostage here.

Stay the night if you wish.

The priest is serving appetizers in the back.

The door to the fairies at the back of the house can only be opened if the child in you lives. (The image of the bas-relief doorway is taken from the Baptistry in the Florence Duomo, one of my dearest Lola's favorite churches.)

Choose the room you feel most comfortable in; know that everything is touchable.

Soup is always on.

All children are welcome. All children know the way to get in.

You will be heard here.

Abuse of any kind will not be tolerated here.

i thought to myself that my words will never be 'enough' or ever the 'right' thing to say, and yet there is so much i wish i could say ...

...and then my eyes fell upon my word verification here ~Quest~ and a picture came into my mind...

...of you my bloggy friend with wings that are so big that they can encompass all that they encounter and such a beautiful light streams from your heart that it lights the way on that dark forest path that you tread...

You won't need anything else my friend, we/your bloggy mates will call the angels of your army, with our prayers, you just keep walking one foot in front of the other, we've got your back <3

Brilliant Renee, when shall I turn up?

I am still thinking of you and your family everyday, and just because I don't always reply to every post you make, doesn't mean I havn't read what you have written, sometimes words escape me and I just sit and ponder after reading your posts.
Life is cruel in so many ways but my love is with you at this time,
dear sweet Renee.

I love it. Is 9 3/4 a Hogwarts reference? It looks very welcoming. Mind if I nab a little of that baguette on the way in?

These seems to be another wonderfull and with lots of hospitality bloglane land, where you are welcome to stay, have a nice chat, play with the kids, but it is fundamental to never forget the rules, the important ones, not the stupid social crap, the rules that adults forget and can make youg people life a leaving hell for many years, those are the propose rules that should never be forgoten, neither here neither anywhere.

Knowing you and your loving family only thru words on my screen still brings my heart into the equation. The Lord will be with you all as you travel this unexpected and unfamiliar path.

May the greatness of His world infuse you with loving kindness and an inexplicable joy despite the sadness.

Hugs from afar,

Good morning, dear Renee. Your words are images will stay with me for quite a while again.

The images of your Blogland Lane house are so inviting, I'm so glad we will be neighbors there, at least.

I know I will not be able to shake that last image out of my mind. Yes, in a perfect world, abuse of any kind would never be tolerated.

Sending you and your loved ones my love and prayers.

Oh, Renee, what a fabulous place you've built here so close to my own #7! I love every single part of your house and yard. I'll be over often, especially in the back yard having appetizers with the priest and his, uh...friend! You made me laugh out loud through my tears this morning before I've even had coffee. I love you, dearest Renee, and am praying hard for you and your family daily. Hang in there, friend of my heart. Blessings, neighbor!!!

Beautiful home, a place that is truly a home - why? because LOVE pours forth!!!! Even the priest lets his hair down, can't say fairer than that!!!!

Eleonora Baldwin said...

I like what you've done with the place, Renee. Can I take over the kitchen (which looks eerily like mine, y'know)?

Pour another cup of tea and wait for me in the veranda. I will give you a foot massage, and listen to your heart.

My prayers are with you and your family in pain. I am sending you something in the mail tomorrow.

Love,
Lola xx

Hi Renee, this is my first time at your blog. I was a little worried until I saw the priest and the appetizers. Then I knew everything would be okay. (P.S. I'm an ex-Winnipegger, lived there for over 20 years. Wonderful city).

oh my sweet jesus, i always knew you had your own brand of creativity, that you are a wonderful writer, that you appreciate art and symbols in your own unique way, but this place you've created is 'over the top' (my favorite expression of yours) in every way. it welcomes, it invites, it sooothes, it comforts.

and to think you are safely snuggled in between me # 9 and marion at # 11. and laurel just a step away.

did you know there is a hospital here that has a 100% cure rate for young people under age 30, a 99% cure rate for people over 30, and a 110% cure rate for all special women named renee or jacquie or bella?

i think we should get in the habit of meeting at midnight sometimes and watching the moon together.

i love love love love love love love you. i can't help it...

:)

9 and three quarters...I'm so there. Any reference to Harry Potter, even if only a fraction, I'm in! (I'm a pathetic mess. My kids laughing at me on the weekend, me crying at Hermione's love for Ron. So sweet. Me, so sappy.)

3/4 you do what I'm talking about, right?

Now that's a home I'd feel welcome in. It could be that I may never want to leave. It's so full of love and light, acceptance without judgement~just like you raven sister.
I love the twilight table setting.
I could sit there all night and just be still.
Thanks for inviting us to your wonderful place on Blogland Lane.
I'm glad we're neighbors and I love that we're sisters ;)

Sending loving, healing thoughts to you and Sheldon and Jacquie, always.

What a glorious place! A place of attention and intention; a place of care and creativity.

Blessings to those who reside there, and those who visit.

I see you sitting on a covered porch, next to a tree that was planted to grow right up the middle - and the roof had to be specially made to make room and light.

There are birds living there, small finches and nuthatches, and two chicadees who spend most of their time eating bits of peanut you've put on the table next to your teacup.

The floor and walls are painted a soft pale yellow, and in the tree's shade there are large ferns and impatiens, and next to the windows, sunflowers.

And you are loved by all. The tree, the squirrels, and all birds, and all your family and friends.
