Hi Renee,
Each of the paintings is serious,
They seem to address dealing with pain. The pensive and penetrate eyes, inviting us into each world.

Been thinking of, and praying for you, Jacquie, Sheldon and your mother.

With love,
Constance

I smile on your heart~

Good morning, dear Renee.

You always find the most incredible works of art. They make me think and feel. They make me want to continue to find the true artist in me and DO something with those feelings.

Are you feeling disjointed, pecked at, poked and prodded? An emotional pincushion? I'm so sorry for all your pain, dear one.

I'm sending you and your dear ones all my love.

Hi Renee: Wow, what interesting and even disturbing pictures. The eyes seem full of pain and anger - or is that just my projection. In your shoes, I would have plenty of both. Hope you are well and that Sheldon and Jacquie are free from suffering.

Oooooooh, these are very cool artworks! I love how people can be so creative. If I could only remember my dreams more vividly, I think I'd have a better imagination!
These are awesome.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend sweet friend!

Aaaaa! I can't even lok at the last one. They all look sad and painful, which I know fits. I'm sorry. Love from me, also, and to your sister and nephew.

These pictures must be a diversion. Good thing, too. As for me, I love diversions, adventures, trips and excursions that take me out of my confort zone for a little while.

Then, I want my bed, my blanket, my books, my cooking.

Okay, I'll answer it here - yes, as long as it's okay with your husband. I'm going wedding dress-shopping now. :)

I see defiance, acceptance, hope, questions, answers and a myriad of other components in the eyes. Like real life and real pain, there is a collage of things said, experienced and silenced by the power of our thoughts. I do not find the images disturbing in the least. Quite the contrary, they are intriguing, powerful, helpless, all that reflects their humanity in ways that are free to be interpreted by the viewer. Isn't that what art is truly all about? Just like our emotions, free to be either interpreted or misinterpreted once they have been filtered by an outside source.

The one thing you are never going to be able to misinterpret is my true affection for you and your never ending search for meaning outside the self. You are beautiful and your choices reflect that without margin for error. From life to life, I promise.

Hello my dear Raven Sister,

My interpretations, for what they're worth.

B is stunning! Such a spiritual journey going on here. A transformation. The art is exquisite.

L is powerful!
having a bird on your head is said to be good luck, especially a black bird like our wonderful Ravens. here I feel it represents an awakening of sorts. The red feathers (blood feathers perhaps) are in a healing circle as if putting the medicine/magic where it is most needed.

D...I see two things here, accupuncture for healing, but I also see this person as a 'specimen' for us to learn from. Much in the way a butterfly, bug or bird will be pinned down in a museum case.

Wow. heavy stuff this week. I do love them, and you.

Ha, it just gets weirder and weirder, Renee. I am SO glad that I have a mentally normal, artistically proper, emotionally healthy, straight-and-narrow kind of blog!

I love her lips on that first one, although her eyes are so sad. And then the second I want to shoo shOOO! that bird away before it pecks. And that last, I want to read. What? AND WHY? That's what I want to know.

Be well, Renee
know you're loved

Hi Renee - these images grab your attention and pull you in ...

you made me smile this morning about not being able to spot the bird - I had a mental picture of your nose fixed to your screen straining your eyes to see ;) the bird is white against the pale tree so it's well camouflaged and if you pull your nose back a little you'll spot it on top of the hollow. Smiles*!*
