Dreams Sponsored By The Letter L

Labyrinth: A desire to get to the center of an issue. Alternatively it can mean that you feel trapped and lost and that there is no way out.

Ladder: Indicates meditation and prayer. Setting forth on a spiritual path and seeking higher awareness. Each rung of the ladder is indicative of a stage in your spiritual awareness.

Lamb: To dream of a lamb is symbolic of deception. Lambs also represent all that is vulnerable, pure, and innocent. Because lambs can have meaning on opposite sides of the spectrum you must look at your dream closely. Holding the lamb in your arms signifies sacrifice.

Landslide: Represents emotions that you have been holding back for a long time. You are at risk of emotional overload. Your emotions are erupting in an unexpected or violent way. There is too much responsibility and stress resting on your shoulders.

Lark: Flying larks in your dreams symbolize high aspirations. If the lark falls during flight it indicates that you may be overcome with despair in the midst of your pleasure and joy. If the lark is wounded or dead it denotes sadness and gloom.

Late: A dream of being late signifies a fear of change and an ambivalence to seize an opportunity. This leads to feelings of being unready, unworthy, or unsupported in your life. In the biggest scheme of things dreaming of being late signifies that time is running out and you will not be able to accomplish all the things you wanted.

Leeches: Refers to people or things in your life that are draining your energy. However, if in your dream you are covered in leeches then you are feeling disgusted by your own body or repulsed by the way you are living your life.

Letter: If you receive the letter it signifies new opportunity or challenges. If you send the letter it is your unconscious mind trying to give you a message. If you tear up a letter in your dream then it symbolizes regrets you have had in your life.

Library: Signifies a search for knowledge and a hunger for ideas. You may be trying to seek out new meanings to your life. If the library is disorganized it would suggest that too much information is coming at you all at the same time and you are having difficulty sorting it all out. A library will always symbolize the knowledge you have accumulated over the years.

Lightning: Signifies sudden awareness, insight, spiritual revelation, truth and purification. It also implies a shocking turn of events, which you need to know you can handle. It may suggest that forces governing your life may well be beyond your control. If you are struck by lightning then irreversible changes are occurring in your life.

Oh Renee, I do love "Dream" day, though I must admit, I do not dream of any of those things! But I love the pics and I frantically search to see which words will be represented. Hope you had a lovely weekend.

I know, I love both the stickers. The parakeet was from my dear cousin Bev, and the Onward was from Nick James. He designed it! Creative guy, that one!

Your dreams postings are always very thought provoking both your written words and the pictures you choose really make me think ... I am in love with the library picture.

Your alphabetical dream posts are always so...well...dreamy. Each so beautifully and thoughtfully illustrated, each so eloquently written, and each so compelling that they make you think back further and further to find that particular dreamscape.

I often dream about getting lost....I wonder if that means the same as 'labyrinth'?

Hehe, I think I see what you mean about Karin...love her comment here!

"L" dreams...interesting stuff here. I wonder if the one person falling off the ladder is spiritually bankrupt? Or falling from grace?

That landslide picture is scary! It got my attention though :D

I'm late all the time, and I can't believe I don't dream about leeches. The image you chose is perfect. All of the images are!

My baby girl (dog, Emma) is at the vets having her teeth cleaned today. Am I a wreck? Yes, I'm strong for other people.
The cat you asked about has another problem I discovered yesterday. I feel a large, solid mass on her neck. I'm taking her and the 90 year old owner in this afternoon. I'll get to take Emma home at the same time.

It's pouring here today and I like it. I think I'll get my letters written.

I'll have white wine in place of the marguarita. I love Karin's comment!!

How's your day so far?

xoxo

god, i can't get over that one image of the boy in the mudslide. was that a photograph? i think of him being swept away, helpless, and it makes my heart hurt.

it's not the dying, per se, but the fact that he might be terrified that haunts me.

studio lolo said...

I know what catnapping means. Maybe that's what I find scary about it. I love her heart.

Your poor grandmother. And bless her for going in to save her little companion. Who ended up caring for the dog?

Yes, we'll save each other ;)
Emma came through with flying colors. I knew she would.

I'll keep you posted on the lady's cat. Hopefully it's a benign finding. We'll also test her blood glucose to see if the insulin is helping. They both break my heart.

Hi Renee,

I can't believe I lost your e-mail address. Overly enthusiastic cleaning out of my inbox or change in yahoo mail system. Not sure what happened.

Anyhow, just letting you know I put your BOH in the mail today. Sorry it took so long. It was way too chaotic last week. I put extra postage on it so you should have it by Wednesday. I hope you like it.

Hugs,

Sandy

I'm going to analyze YOU, and, I'm assuming you chose your profile picture because:

"You're trying to seek out new meanings to your life?"

Or, I could be wrong:D I just don't have anything witty to write today!!

Wishing you Love, Light, and Laughter. And, a great Lay:)Har, har, har.

Good morning Renee,
as I'm rather new to your place can you tell me about your dream letters. Where do you source the perfectly matched images. Do you go on a wild chase or do you have books you are using?

I need to be more aware of my dreams for now on!!!
Interesting post...Now I hope I dream of a ladder tonight and I reach the top rung!!! LOL Oh to reach enlightenment!! :)

I picked up the mail today in a frenzy of bringing Emma home...client in the car with her kitty, blah blah.
I dropped the client off with her cat and got them settled.I got back into the car and thought "What the hell. I'll open the package now!"
The most INTENSE, and I mean INTENSE rush came off the card envelope as I opened it. Your energy was all over it Renee and I nearly wept. Your words, your gesture blew me away.
I'm going to write a snail mail to elaborate but I just had to let you know that it arrived today.
YOU arrived here today.
You're amazing, Ms. Winnipeg.
Thank you so much.

xoxo

Renee. What a great blog. I just love all the pictures and the words. I posted three choices of my blog for our first Blogger BookEnds. We're so happy to have you.

Renee, I for one am praying your dreams are full of light and hope and truth. John 8:32 "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth will set you free".

Interesting post, Renee. In the Bible there are several instances where dreams play a part in God's plan for his people. I find it fascinating!

I confess, I have not been able to remember my dreams lately. But I have a hunch it would have to do something with being late.

Guffaw on the lamb picture! The poor man. And the landslide picture -- gosh, is that for real?
