Wednesday's Women No. 22

My name is Madame Estelle and I run a class for boys and girls in my home every other Wednesday.

I am sure you have heard of IQ and EQ, while I would like to present the world with PQ.

As you can tell by this photo of me that I have excellent posture. Now please don’t think I would have a whole Q devoted just to posture. Within that PQ is manners, posture, etiquette, how to deal with doormen, and of course how to tilt your nose ever so slightly upward.

You see PQ is a very delicate (like all things I participate in) state.

I of course will never discuss money, which is so gauche. I will put it as delicately (as mentioned above) as possible, if you have to ask how much, then you cannot afford to have your children participate in my classes.

I am selling to parents exactly what they want their children to represent to the world, the same thing in fact that they mock.

:-)Brilliant!
When I read something like this - I want to applaud...
Why don't I just do that:
(stand) clap,clap,clap,clap...

What I'd give to meet you in person Madame Renee.

Oh Madame PQ...so lovely, so proper, even one of your cats seems to personify PQ (though the other one seems to need some attention!). I agree with you..if one needs to ask the price....

Ha ha! This is great! I love Wednesday's Women!
Big hugs to you lovely lady.

Love the art! Madame Estelle is very sly indeed, at first sight it seemed to me that beauty is her only dimension …I think possibly there is more to her than meets the eye?

Sound to me like she's PQ'd.
POORLY QUALIFIED. HEHEHEHE
Have a great day Renee. Viva La PQ!

Sign me up! Sign me up! And I am fantastic at 'nose tipping', and can offer my classmates some pointers. Madame, I see you have two black cats. So do I. May I bring them to class for show-and-tell?

And how much are the classes? Ooops! Faux pas.

Sell what they mock. Hmn. very interesting this Madame Estelle. She will probably kick me out of her class because I will find it so stifflingly boring and superficial. Instead I would have asked my parents to enroll me in music class where i could learn to play the piano with such passion that the tap of every key will send some romantic or sentimental woman to orgasm. or to karate class, or painting or ballroom dancing...any class where I may learn to create something and be truly interesting. My Ps and Qs will come naturally then because it will be the byproduct of a confident, accomplished woman who does not give a damn about how to tilt her nose, in fact this woman spent most of her prime years looking down most of the time to someone in in bed, in need of care or pain relief. Too bad, I could not stand the piano teacher or the guitar lessons, but loved ballroom dancing!

Hmmmmm - not too many students eh? She looks so cold and lonely - like she might break if anyone really touched her heart. It made me sad, I want to drag her to some fun place and make that stiff posture crack. To see it disolve in gleefull, whiggly, giggles.
Love you hon, Sarah

Ha Ha! Tell it like it is! "We are just an average family! But Jimmy is first in everything and Sally is going to marry the next President!" LOL.

P.U. to PQ! That's all I have to say about that:) Did you kick some "monster" butt today? I hope so! I'll join you. We don't have to be in the same space to share our butt kicking:) In fact, Madame Estelle deserves some(lol)

I knew a gentleman in grad school who had steel rods implanted in his spine. He had excellent posture, too. And come to think of it, he did hold his nose ever so slightly upward and throw big words around. He liked to serenade me with his guitar, which turns a bit awkward after the first 30 seconds or so. What do you do, do you sing along? Look him in the eyes? Strum your own air-guitar?

PQ- watch your P's and Q's! When I first heard this expression I thought it meant to improve my handwriting.

(You see, when you are learning a second language in the second language homeland, you are a prisoner. You must do everything correctly, or you'll never begin to become like the natives you so admire.)

Now, back to your Madame Estelle, a well-bred lady with excellent manners and so enthroned that she shows only her official profile. Anyone who brings children to learn from her expects these children to become HER.

VIVE LA DIFFERENCE! AND bUONA NOTTE, RENEE.

Thanks to your sense of humor, whimsy and joyful clowning, you have created a perfect foil. When we mention this technique, we can say it is Shakespearean, or we can say it is a Reneean!

You put Manitoba on the map!

Oh, all the P's and Q's! My mother was a P and Q perfectionist. Oh boy, I treasured the moment I could throw P's and Q's and all the rest of that twaddle to the wind!

Very entertaining Renee! Did you know that minding your P's and Q's proabably was originally a warning to a printer to be careful of the letters p and q when preparing to print a page? Just a little useless info there!
