Boy, you don't fool around getting your day-related posts in on time. If I've got your time zone figured out, you posted this at 12:30. I always look forward to your graphics.

Dear Renee -- how is your sister these days?

Happy Halloween dear Renee!
love that 3rd pic, I wish I could do watercolor like that!
oh, and I won't make a joke about the second pic (is that the pope?).

betty

Wow! What a neat door!
And uhm, yeah, not to insult the pope, but every time I see him, he looks more and more odd...The Colbert Report showed a photo of him, and, well, he looked possessed. Get that man some double sided tape and under eye concealer!
Have a great weekend my dear,
Meg

I just love that door, photo, and the way they've got it decorated for Halloween.

And is it just me, or does the Pope look a little crazY?

It's far too early in the morning for me to snicker like this. Those pictures are priceless. And how did you get the pix of my front door. You know it looks like that ALL year round. (My cleaning lady is terrible - I think she's a bad witch. After she cleans, I always find bags of garlic and packets of 'eye of newt' all over the place.)

These are great .. the pope/priest photo is so funny!

Hope you're well.

I love all three of these images. I want that door, first of all. And most likely the house that goes with it. I think the second is borderline scary - something about the expression and his hands. :) And the third is just plain old fun. Happy Halloween to you my friend! Much love - xoxox Pam

Renee, I'm taking over your blog comment section, haha!
you should consider one of Kelly's art journaling classes- you don't have to be an artist at all to do it, it is step-by-step and the journaling part is relaxing.
Plus, no pressure, you download the material and work at your own pace.
ok no more from me today, lol!

Love the door! Good grief, the Pope is scarey!!! HA! Good one, Renee. Only you would come up with that. All my love to you and Jacquie. **kisskiss** Deb

meghann has it right: the pope looks possessed! now there's a halloween costume to emulate!

about dinner: what's with carrying the bed and who's in it? are you trying to scare me that i'll be kidnapped in my sleep by stick-y people?

about the door: clever. i wish i had time to decorate for halloween. all we have is a lit witch who changes color. we sent mr. ryan a flashlight that has interchangable spooky pictures that will show up on the walls and ceilings and floors when he has it on.

this reminds of a a cute story. i can't say why, but here it is: years back when my nephew was in first grade, he went to his school party as queen elizabeth. that was an early indication that he would be his own woman...

i love you to the moon and back, ms. renee.

Is that last watercolor of your making?! I REALLY like it. Whimsical illustration of a Halloween nightmare with super effects in the clouds and the hazy light.

Oh shoot, no deep thoughts coming from me for these pics.

I adore the door without the web.

I do find the Pope scary...sorry. No offense intended.

I love the bottom illo but I'm not a fan of halloween.

I don't want to go in the spider web house,or meet the frightening nun. The last parade of death and his friends looks quite alright.
I love your story of the moth and flying around the yard with your Grand daughter.

Happy Halloween! Have a lovely weekend. I like thinking about you flying around and playing with your granddaughter.

Ribbitting now!

(As a kid, my transitional object was a stuffed frog instead of a teddy bear.)

Sue said...

Love, love the door!! The pope? hmmm, not this pic - he looks possessed (and not by the Holy Spirit). The parade of spooky creatures in the last pic is wonderful and I know just how that child feels. I had many nights like this when I was little - all nightmares, literally!

Hugs to you!
