I am not sure if being a chicken is better than being a spinach but the first image just altogether makes me want to stop eating. If you are what you eat, then I will henceforth be eating chocolate cakes.

I forgot lunch.

Amazing line work on the third image. I will not interpret it, just enjoy the superb technical rendition!

I like the polka dots, but am not sure about the other two Renee!

Wow that first one is scary as hell, but brilliant all the same!
My husband said he really liked it and said he liked the fact that it was really scary but in such a mundane setting!!?
He also said if he didn't have kids he would have it on his wall!!
I guess it takes all sorts eh ;)

The first one was spooky but comical. I loved it. I kept staring at it for minutes on end. Many thanks.

Greetings from London.

I don't like that first one! You're capture is 'thodz' and that's what they look like. Send them back!

I like them chicken-wang gals having coffee and talking about mens. LMAO! Renee, where DO you get this stuff? Thanks for the early morning laugh. I love you. Blessings!!

Good morning, dear Renee,

Like life, B and D are nightmarish, yet beautiful. And I love the colors and shapes of L. (I seem to have missed the post where you tell us the meaning behind the letters B, L and D, if you ever explained it.)

Love, hugs, and more love,
xoxoxo

What a group this week!

B) Those guys shouldn't be drinking vodka for breakfast. Look what it's done to them! They also look like they may suffer from acid reflux with the length their food has to travel. :)

L) I see a face in the deep purple sphere on the left. For some reason I see this piece as cancer cells. I'm trying not to.

D) I wonder what this scene is telling us. The fishing boy (who's the only one NOT in a bubble) is missing a leg. The egret seems to be flying away but is attached to his fishing line. There appears to be 2 moons, one is a quarter moon on the right, the other looks like a blurred face on the left.
For some reason, the cormorant seems joyous.

That's my 2-cent interpretaion this week raven sister ;)

love you!
xoxoxo

P.S. Still praying for jacquie

i feel like trying to interpret tarot cards here.. (not that i know how.)

..the reading..hmm. Not so good, my darling. Of course, the good news is, even then, this will pass.

We used to walk museums on Sundays, discovering new, unusual and disturbing installations here and there. Those that caught our eyes and our imagination stayed around to become fodder for conversation, connecting one thing to another. These Fantasy Friday installations of yours do the same thing. Thank you, especially for people like me who do not have access to museums any more.

Dearest Rene,

Thank you for coming on board with me to Stillwater; I am so glad that you enjoyed that! I am going to be posting part II tomorrow, so please, feel free to amble on down and catch the next trolley with us! I remember you; you visited me once. How are you doing and feeling? I hope and pray that your strength will continue to be a bright light to those around you. You have made my day with your blog as well. Blessings, Anita

That first one interests me ... not exactly sure why.

Thinking of you, hope that today finds you well sweet Renee. The images are disturbing so much ennui and nihilism.

That third image is amazing creativity. Thanks for sharing these.

I also am cracking up (despite feeling really ill today) at other readers' comments. :)

Ooh, that first one is certinaly arresting. I like the middle one - it's like a gathering of planets.

The first one reminds me of praying mantis' with some strange skin disorder. I love the last two. :) My computer is on the fritz, so if I disappear for a day, that's why. Love you, Renee! xoxox

Oh I hate that first one, it looks like it's from some weird horror film. Could give me nightmares. Pretty dots, they look like planets. The bottom one is beautifully drawn and coloured but also weird creatures exist there.

kj said...

moon sister, how can you take me from creepy to dreamy in the span of three hours? do you mind if i skip breakfast, and maybe dinner too, and cuddle up in the color and comfort of lunch?

and where DO you find all this artwork? i imagine you have a collection of a thousand images or more, but you always seem to come up with just the right selection for your always intruiging point and purpose.

tomorrow is saturday. i kick into higher how-is-renee? gear over the weekend. i can't say why, but i do.

OMG I saw the first painting and thought that is me! And some crazy other person!
I love that they are seated in a very "home " like space....

I'm thinking of you Renee~

Wonderfully executed, all of them.
I've always heard that art doesn't have to be 'pretty' to be appreciated, or extraordinary. The first one bears witness to that.
Some would (maybe) say that the second one is almost too beautiful to be taken seriously, but I do,,,oh, I surely do.

I hope to never have an i.v. while fishing,,,and something deep inside me doesn't want to understand the third.
And HONEST,,,my word verification is: putrid
:-O

These guys look like chickens but they can't be. I think they are praying mantes saying grace before they eat.hehe

WHOA! I have to wonder what these artists are like in person. Not exactly my cup of tea, but I'm envious of their ability to really let their imaginations soar.

I think I'd prefer to bob around in the second as an oily blog of colour. Yes. Pretty sure.
