Love that picute! Reminds me a little of when I was very young and we listened to Grandpa's stories about his experiences (he was a prisoner in Siberia for 10 years and nobody knew weather he was alive or dead) and we didn't have a TV, no phone, no modern conveniences - but we did have a Grundig radio that was turned on occasionally. Even then the radio had story time for children and grown ups. I remember the men of my family huddling around the radio attentively listening to the detective program that was broadcasted on a certain night of the week...boy, sometimes I feel like I lived two life times, maybe even three...I feel lucky to have experienced all that and even more blessed to be able to remember it all ;-)
I didn't watch this video (yet) Renee, but, I will since you recommended it. I have to hurry up and go to Goleta and then Santa Barbara and then Los Angeles! it's going to be a long day of running around, but I get to see my sons and one of my daughters and then my neice and my sister! So, i don't mind running around for all these reasons. I hope you enjoy your saturday and maybe get some of your decorations up. love and more love, lori
What a beautiful song, Renee. And the dancers are amazing. You find the best videos! I hope your weekend is peaceful and happy. Love, Hugs & Blessings...
Oh I loved that little treat...the dancers, the choir...I love Vanessa Williams, even if she did take sexy pictures when she was extremely young (the ONLY time to take them). Tell me why she got dethroned as Miss America for that when we all know what went on in the Oral Office? Ooops. Excuse me. My tongue slipped. Renee, I just ate a Russel Stover's chocolate covered marshmellow Santa and I am not looking up the points. Nor am I listing on my log. **shhhhhhhh** It's a secret. **kisskiss** Deb
i love vanessa williams. do you watch 'ugly betty' on television? she plays a beautiful conviving woman perfectly.
fyi: if i were choosing a woman to spend an evening with, vanessa williams would be on my short list. so would faith hill. in case you were wondering...
i shouldn't have changed the subject. i'll return to the song: beautiful for the season.

Love you,

Vanessa Williams did a beautiful job with this! I shared it with so many people. Thank you, Renee.
Like Doris, I can remember the days of radio, especially listening to the weekly serials like Yukon King and the Shadow!!!
