Renee - we just watched this together last night. No matter how many times I see it, I always crack up when he gets that nefarious smile going. And poor, good-hearted little Max! :)) Love to you from snowy Maryland - xoxoxox Pam
i kept waiting for mr. grinch to be rehabilitated!
worse than a seasick crocodile? OMG!
no doubt boris karloff (sp?) had a blast singing this one. and how SMOOOTH those candy canes were removed from those sweet little children. thank god there is no mr. grinch slinking around the the land of the blogs: just we fun loving wild wonderful folks counting our blessings....
A ALMOST MOIST SMACK ON THE LIPS TO YOU, MOON SISTER.
Renee! You were heavy on my heart and mind all day yesterday. I'm so happy to see your post this morning, Grinch or no Grinch! I love you and am praying for you, dear, precious friend. Sending you ((((HUGS))))) fervent prayers and blessings....
renee, you, dear, love. i just wrote a post using your longing for gentler times as a launching point and my response of gentle chaos. i do not want you to think, for one moment, that i am saying you aren't able to see your cup half full. i only wanted to say that any of our complaints (us of the healthy bodies) are trivial and that our blessings are huge. when we are able to lift our heads and move through our days easily, no matter what we encounter, it is gentle. Wahid's discovering there is no Santa. my separation. my children adjusting. cold. i recognize in you only beauty and fight and love. i wish for you a chance to enjoy gentle chaos, not in a moment, but as a state of being.
Dear Renee, i did not do well at your quiz :( But I do love the Grinch, especially when his heart grows. My heart grows when i think of you.(except for when i'm worrying). Merry Christmas dear.
Love love love Seuss. Brilliant man. Have you seen the movie Horton hears a Who? All of lifes' lesson are right there in a child tale. **blows merry kisses** Deb
Check out my blog this morning, Renee. Thinking of you and hoping that you're feeling a bit better. If you're not, I pray that it will be better soon. Love to you...
Dearest Renee - I so love this movie! It's one of the many things I got to enjoy as an adult once I got to the US. I love all the Dr. Seuss books and Daniel can still recite some of them verbatim! I've even sent some to my nephews in Germany who love them as well... Hope you are feeling much better today!! Much love to you and your family!! Silke
Renee.... I'm so happy to see you!! Now.... I'll be singing this song the rest of the day.... it's stuck in this head of mine! Love Dr. Seuss! One of my good friend's nickname is Cindy Lou Who....lol!
Hi I came over from Sarahs blog to wish you a journey to health and happiness. My prayers are with you. My sister used to live in Winnipeg, so I know how brutal the winters can be there. I wish you all the best of days ahead.
Hello darling, That singing...I've always been a sucker for a male baritone...oh dear I've just reread what I wrote and it sounds quite risque...but I won't change it...might give you a giggle! I'm thinking of you often sweet girl, hoping that you're feeling a little better...
I am not Grinchy tonight. :) All my shopping is DONE, and I can light some candles and relax. We are going to watch a Christmas movie (after everyone argues over which one, and why we should/should not watch such and such). Maybe I should make some brownies. I think chocolate is in order. I hope you are feeling better, sweetie. You are in my thoughts and prayers - xoxoxoxoxoxox Pam
I never fail to watch any of the Christmas cartoons when they come on TV. Even though everybody probably already has them on disc, I prefer the scheduled television versions. It just makes me think that I am watching the show at the same time as everybody else. Nice to see your sense of humour shining through Renee. That is a Blessing.
I love the Grinch! Even though he's a mean one, he reminds us that we all have the capacity to overcome our hatred and see the good an innate kindness in others. He's not just for Christmas, but all year through!
Hi Reneeeeeeeeee!!!! I have been so busy this past few days that I haven't had time to say hello!!! so I am now here....
I love the Grinch....we watch it every year and Cole loves when Daddy reads him this story....I think he picked it almost every night for the last week...lol....

Renee, We just saw the touring Broadway production of Grinch and it was so much fun! But he was a mean one. He reformed. I like that about him...:p)
