You mean a COOK? Hey this image is pure magic! I love cardinals. My mother-in-law loved cardinals and we have several that she made hanging on our Christmas Tree.

Today we have Canadian cold weather down in the gulf. However it is bright and sunny.

I dare you to spank me. I dare you!!!

"Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me....
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see.

T'was Grace that taught...
my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear...
the hour I first believed.

Through many dangers, toils and snares...
we have already come.
T'was Grace that brought us safe thus far...
and Grace will lead us home.

The Lord has promised good to me...
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be...
as long as life endures.

When we've been here ten thousand years...
bright shining as the sun.
We've no less days to sing God's praise...
then when we've first begun.

"Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me....
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see.

xoxo to my beloved friend renee, her sisters, her children and grandchildren, her husband, her mom, and all her special friends who come here simply and devotedly to love....

happy holidays from kj

I love cardinals! We have them here, and when I first moved east from the west coast, I practically had a car accident pointing them out to my kids! I will visit youtube when my computer thinks I should. Right now it thinks I shouldn't. :) I hope you are having a good day - xoxox love Pam

"What would A. do"? She would tell you what a wonderful human being you are, what a persistent, faithful and loving friend you are. What a comrade in arms, needing very few words and one piece of wood here and there only, to keep the roaring fire alive and going.

She would tell you you are a gift that changes every time she opens the package, and her heart sings and her laughter takes away her pain for that magical moment when she gets what you are doing or thinking. I know she would. Because she has loved you for a very long time silently, and when the time came, you must have realized as well that there was no need for many words that have already been spoken life after life, forever.

Now that sounds better. I hate the lyric 'saved a wretch like me' but love the tune so it sounds lovely in another language.

oh dear Renee, you had me laughing because I hadn't a clue what you were referring to by "color wheel". It finally landed though, and this is what I mean ~ http://www.un.org/en/documents/udhr/

I hope the link works. Unable to put lights on aluminum trees the alternative was a motorized mechanism that sits on the floor next to the tree. The wheel turns round, shining green, red, yellow, and blue light on the tree. Very retro...from the 60's I believe.
Many people collect aluminum trees, and the color wheels are rather difficult to find, unless they are made new now, I don't know. thanks for the laugh!

I am so enjoying your Christmas mood here... :)

Cardinals are one of my favourite birds especially in the winter. Earlier today, I came by here quickly, saw the photo and smiled. Then later, as I was looking out our rear window in the office, there sitting at the feeder, in all his crimson spledour, was a beautiful Cardinal oblivious to the blowing snow surrounding him. Here's hoping all is going well with you today Renee.

Just checking in, Renee, to see how you are doing?! Are you feeling better again? Sending lots of love! Silke

The Native American Peoples have such a spiritual connection to the earth. Their reverence for it and the belief they are not separate from it centers them on the correct path. We are all truly one people.

We are all made of stardust. This is not the final form of our being.

I hope you sleep all night and that a rainbow touches your shoulder in the morning.

xoxo right back at you

Love all your Chrissy pictures :)

I agree with the not-for-profit roles, I am enjoying connecting with people and helping any way I can so they can cope with their illness in an empowering way.

We have a speaker Phil Kerslake who has written a fantastic book called Life, Happiness & Cancer. I do recommend it! He is such an inspiration.....
