Renee, what an awesome, beautiful song. I'd never heard it sung by David Bowie and Bing Crosby before. It's one of my top 5 holiday songs. Thanks for sharing it, dearest pal. I love you. I hope you have a good day, my friend. Love & Blessings...

I love your links Renee. Loved David Bowies take on this classic song, didn't know his voice was that good. Wishing you and your family a most restful and loving Christmas. Much love to you Renee-XO

Hello Renee, sure hope your feeling a bit better today, those bats need to find a new cave!! Love all of your Christmas pictures. Thank you for your post on my blog sweetie. Speaking of sweets I sure hope you get to enjoy one during this Holiday Season. I love Cella's chocolate covered cherries they are my favorite and I normally don't share my box with anyone, but I would love to share it with you.

Take care and ((HUGS))

Oh Gawd, is there a more awkward segment of film in the history of recorded images? But still, no Christmas is complete without watching it and cringing at least once! Hugs to you, Renee.

That was lovely. Thanks for sharing.

Okay, my dear Renee. You're going to hate me for saying so, but 'The Little Drummer Boy' has always annoyed me. I don't know why exactly. Maybe it's the monotonous rum pum pum pum thing.

However, it was Josh Groban who rescued me from my dislike when he recorded it. His version is the only version I can tolerate.

We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas
And Happy New Year!!

Renee, can I come and sit with you again? I want us to pray together. This morning I saw what the ancients saw ... the winter sun rising over Stonehenge. If I had gone yesterday I would have been engulfed by druids, but I wanted to see the stones alone. I wanted to pray with just you, Jacquie, Daisy and my other loved ones. I know that when you're choking it doesn't help. I wish I was there. xx Jos

I just read a blog post by someone who was hating on the little drummer boy. I always thought t was a sweet story - he offered the only thing he had to give.

OH! I LOVE this combination.

And I miss the sort of Christmas Specials it represents. Like the Dean Martin Show, the Perry Como Special, etc., all the really great old guys. Not many extravaganzas any more.

xoxo right back at you.\

What a coincidence! Yesterday or the day before they had this video on one of the music channels and I was marvelling at the fact I'd never seen it. Many thanks. That was a fantastic treat.

Greetings from London.

You are in my head...my heart...

Bowie and Bing such a unusual combination....but so complete... like you and me....

Can we have smoked duck with cranberry reduction... for one of our gypsy first course? With rice pilaf almonds, golden raisins, and pine nuts... More red mulled wine please! A romaine salad with bleu cheese and toasted almonds... this is just the beginning my dear gypsy friend.. just the beginning ~

Well, Renee, it is true that I visit no one's blog as much as I feel that I should or even as much as I want too. So, here I come, and I read about you puking bats out of your nose while worrying about the loss of your 217 pound girlish figure. I will just say, if I may, if you don't mind that is, that, if I were you, I mean, not to be telling you what to do or anything...well, Renee, I wouldn't worry one whole hell of a lot about it. There's always next year. Well, maybe not. One never knows, you know. Anyway, as sick as you are, I just don't think your figure--girlish or otherwise--sounds like anything too damn important, but that's just me. I've never had a girlish figure, so maybe I'm missing some key to sublime happiness by not understanding your obsession with girlishness when most girls don't seem to like it all that much even when they're young enough to enjoy it. In any event, I would bet that concern for your girlish figure is something you could safely put on the backburner, at least until the bat problem is resolved.

Blessings, Darling...

Good morning Renee (Christmas eve eve ... what do you mean there is no such thing as eve eve ... there is too!) I got your card today and the lovely .... hmmm ... not exactly sure what it is, but it is a pretty star inside a clear dome. I have glued a ribbon onto the back off it and hung it on my tree ... front and centre. Thank you so much.

Just going to walk over to Stonehenge a bit later on to send some more energy your way. It is soooooo cold (English cold which is quite distinct from Canadian cold ... different order altogether) and we have snow! It hardly ever snows here.

I hope and wish and pray. Every day. Always. I hope it is easing for you dear heart. xx Jos
