Yup, ignorance is bliss :)
Not crazy for Christmas yet...we take a very relaxed approach to Christmas...most things are handmade or if not, under $50 to save stress. We do small dinners, I love it :)
Love you too, hugs and prayers to you,
Meg

One of my favorites of Bella's. Lovee, I have a very important date this morning with The Mall. And then to help me regain my strength, dinner and Margaritas at Nandos tonigh with our neighbors...so late in the night, by the twinkling of Christmas lights, I shall return to sit with you a while. Prayers constantly upon my lips, never ceasing. **blows prayers to Heaven** Deb

Yeah, that's where I need to be for a while to regroup - I just want to be blissfully ignorant - stick my head in the sand and pretend everything's aok!

I love this painting!!! Bella is so talented - her lines and colors and whimsy! :) And I want to go through that gate! Come on, we'll go together, and nothing will bother us. I'll buy you some cotton candy. We'll win some goldfish. Ride the Ferris Wheel. Love you - Pam

Darling indeed, every inch of the drawing paper and beyond. My favorite lifetime illutrators are Arthur Rackham and Bella Sinclair! And I don't blame that lady at the gate for getting attracted to the innocence and naivete of a child's world, unadulterated, stress-free and if blessed and lucky with loving parents, a refuge from this scary, threatening and outside world.

I am off to my own dreamland, the bookstore where I will camp with my laptop, my blackberry, my drawing pens and Bristol boards and a cup of java while The Viking and Girl Epsilon browse.

A wise, amazing painting! Yes, in some instances, ignorance is pure, unadulterated bliss. Thanks for sharing this, Renee. xoxoxo

You sure know a lot of artistic people. I'm still thrilled to have one of Tessa's prints! Still searching for the perfect frame for it.

Ah, yes,,,it's a small world, and magically inviting. Bella has it down!
I am sitting with the clay today,,,making ornaments for the little guy's tree.
Who knew Buzz Lightyear could be so tedious???
A fine, non-tedious Saturday to you, Renee!

there are definitely days I would gladly turn over the reins and live in complete ignorance and bliss!

Just Perfect, and where I dont mind spending some time. It's ok to want to escape every now and then, it may even help our sanity.Warmest Regards,Cat

But that's exactly why I belong in the Land of Ignorance! I didn't know the cotton candy was free! And I thought they charged admission! You have to let me in!!!!! xoxo

And to think that your friend Bella painted this! What a beautiful token, what a gift for you.

How is it that I'm always behind the curve here? I'm always catching up.

I know, you're on wings of hope and wishes of everyone who loves you so, and you are soaring day and night to catch us all, to tell all that's in your heart.

Whenever I come here, I feel lifted too. Thank you dear, loved, Renee.

They say ignorance is bliss ;)

The painting is definately blissful. I think that little girl needs some color in her world.

How are you feeling today, dear sister?

you can almost feel those flowers dancing! and that hand extending on the left.... to me, bella's deft hand and sparkling view somehow takes 'simple' and makes it 'universal'. it's always a pleasure to see her view of the world.

ah! the password is nonya--pretty close!

Sorry, but does the sign read 'ignoramus'? If it does, it's one of the smartest signs I've seen in a long time.

And if it doesn't it's still a fantastic painting.

Greetings from London.

Hi Renee, hope you are keeping well and having a great time.
It has taken me too long to visit you. Seems such a life time.

I have your boards ready, which is a start.

Mark made me some shaped arched wood today and though it would be great to make a family tryptich.

I don't get idea's for ages sometimes and it frustrates me so much. Hooray, have made progress.

Still have some paintings to do. I keep getting asked for more, help!

All I want to do is paint some for my family and then paint yours and Aisha's!

Sending you my love and havn't forgotten about you.

Huge HUG!

Julie

I love Christmas too! Hot chocolate with marshmellows. Cedar and fire smells. Gingerbread. Sparkly colors, sounds of singing voices, packages with bows. Grandchildren's squeals. Families eating together. Warm toasty laprobes and snow hitting the windows. Carols. Jingle Bells. Love is in the air.

xoxo right back at you.

(Angela Recada is right. All I care is that you hear from me. Don't feel you have to answer me, honey. Relax.)

I love the way this little girl is hesitating. Is this really as good as it looks? Do I really want ... hmmm ... if I play and play and play will I be truly happy?

Ignorance can seem so appealing sometimes, akin almost to oblivion ... and yet ... there is joy in knowing.

I find such joy in knowing you dear Renee. I hope you are feeling OK today. xx Jos

This piece of artwork is simply beautiful and pure. Wow. I clicked on it to look at it larger, and it totally melted my heart. I feel like I am that little girl...exploring a brand new world with brand new eyes.

LOVE how you help me see the world in a brand new way, in this brand new life of mine.

OMG, Renee. I totally forgot about the Claymation Christmas. I found myself with tears in my eyes as I sat there and watched it. It brought back warm memories of being with my grandma...and how I am still not too old to dream.
