Wednesday's Women No. 10

Now I know those purple shoes will look divine with all of my red dresses. And with a 20% discount I know my husband will understand why I come to the Mall for more than just peace and quiet.

Fritz, honestly, this will be the last time you come with me if you can’t be a little more cheerful. You are totally chillin’ my ride.

I understand that you find the Mall boring Fritz and compared to the activity at home it is as dull as sandpaper rubbing against wood, but I need the peace and quiet.

No dear that is not a joke, the name on the card is correct. Yes, yes it is, Mary Christmas.

so much so that I wish it was a christmas card... and I now want to go get some new shoes. (the shoe thing doesn't take much influence though!)

Renee, I forgot to add that I don't know how you folks in the North are able to survive such COLD winters! But then you'll must wonder how we are able to stand the extremes of heat we get over here. It's hard to fathom or grasp what any temperature below 0 Fah. feels like!

Thanks for stopping by this morning, Renee. I always love seeing what you have posted.
Keep your chin up and try to keep smiling. Remember, we're rootin' for ya.
Thanks for the compliment on my chick picture.

Thank you! You're blog has become part of my daily routine. You have made me experience every emotion possible (some that I never knew existed). When I picture you when Ang and I were young.....I see you sitting on the maroon sectional with a book the size of an encyclopedia. Now I can picture you sitting in front of that computer giving all of us that same experience you had reading those treasured books of yours. Although not all of your posts are happy posts, all of them have taught me something and I will carry those things that I have learned for the rest of my life. I know that you started your blog for YOU but I want you to know that it has done a lot for me and for that I truly thank you. I see and appreciate things now that I used to take for granted. You have given me that gift. I think you are a very brave woman for exposing all of your thoughts and feelings for all of us to see and experience. I have been scared to write a simple comment expressing what your blog means to me and you on a daily basis write these sometimes beautiful..sometimes thought provoking...sometimes maddening..sometimes funny...but overall meaningful and memorable blogs that detail your memories, thoughts, fears, concerns and wishes. There should be more people like you! Thanks again... and thank you for Ang, my longest and dearest friend.
P.S. Thank you for being a nosy mother and fixing the "Bon Parler Francais" contest at school so that Ang and I could become friends again....Cindy

I really like seeing these little portholes to your writing. Didn't we always say you should be a writer or a teacher?

Wow Cindy, what can I say to that. Except thank you for the Christmas present.

You are a doll and a wonderful woman.

I don't think you will feel shy to post again. So anytime you want to make me feel good (like you just have) you just go ahead.

Love you Cindy.
